Elegance is Italian.
The price? That’s secondary.

RIGATONI SANNITI ALLA CARBONARA

One of the most beloved iconic dishes in the world, and at the same time one of the most distorted dishes in the world, like all popular Italian pasta dishes, it must be made with a few high-quality ingredients;
pasta, guanciale, eggs, pecorino cheese, black pepper. Abroad, due to a matter of asbestos-coated palates, extra ingredients are added such as arugula, mushrooms, pancetta, peas, chicken, cherry tomatoes, Parmigiano...
Just consider that not even the best exorcist, can find the right formula...

RIGATONI SANNITI ALLA CARBONARA

More & More

June always arrived with purple-stained hands.
White mulberries were sweet and gentle, the first to ripen, almost shy; the black ones, deeper and bolder, fell onto our clothes, leaving marks impossible to hide. Then came the wild blackberries, later in the season, untamed, earned with a few scratches on our arms.

My childhood moved to that rhythm: waiting for the right moment, reading the color, tasting first with the eyes and then with the fingers. Every berry had a personality, every stain a story. This dish is born from there—from June, from the high sun, and from those dirty hands I never wanted to wash.

Where did the hamburger come from?

The answer is a longer journey than you think! Its history is a blend of cultures, migration, and culinary genius:

The Roots (Germany)
The name comes from Hamburg. In the 1800s, ships filled with immigrants left the city for America. On board, they served an affordable and nutritious ground meat patty called "Hamburg Steak."

The Transformation (USA)
Once it arrived in the New World, that dish evolved. But the decisive move? Putting it between two slices of bread! Who the genius was that did it first is a mystery, claimed by various fair vendors and food stands.

The Official Birth
Many historians credit the invention of the sandwich as we know it to Louis Lassen, from the small "Louis' Lunch" in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1900. A hurried customer asked for a slice of bread to avoid getting his hands dirty… and the rest is history.

From the port of Hamburg to dinner tables all over the world, the hamburger is proof that sometimes great ideas are born from the meeting of cultures and a simple necessity: eating with your hands!

What version of the story did you know?

And what's your favorite burger?
