Some years before my dad passed, we were at dinner @lawrystheprimerib and he told me that he wanted to name me Antonio BenRush after his cousin because he liked the name. I remember looking at mom like “you chose Jared” over this?! Then I had the thought to bring @antoniobenrush through music, as it is dear love of mine since forever starting with @enjoyenj. Everything artistic I do is out of love for the art not the gain. I could die fulfilled and happy knowing that I am serving my life’s purpose and that is to create art. But I’m just getting started. 😊 🐎

Jared Lorenzo is an actor and DJ who plays music under the moniker Antonio BenRush. Originally from Los Angeles but now based in Berlin, he has worked on international film and TV productions. Upon moving across the Atlantic he started a party called Suede which had its home at the beautiful club Beate Uwe. Wonderful DJs like Murat Tepeli, Telephones, Jesse G, Christian Burkhardt, and Castro to name a few have been on the bill. Inspired by R & B of the 90s and his love for dance music, he has curated his sound melding the two in many of his sets, and continues to defy the stereotypes of what it means to be a "good DJ". He is the founder of Sooner Or Lady, a film production company and record label, and is currently curating a mix series "The Color of Sound.
