For more than half a century, @timberland_eu has occupied a rare space in fashion and culture. The Yellow Boot is one of those products that long ago transcended its original purpose, moving effortlessly between workwear, hip-hop, streetwear and everyday life. Few brands can claim such a broad cultural footprint while remaining so instantly recognizable.

Timberland’s latest campaign, The A to Z of Timberland, revisits that legacy through a dialogue between past and present, pairing archive imagery with a new generation of voices and wearers. Heritage alone, however, is never enough. The challenge lies in keeping it relevant.

For our latest editorial, we explored that tension between history and renewal through the 6-Inch Yellow Boot, the Euro Hiker and the Field Boot. Set between one of Berlin’s last stone sculptors’ workshops and the city’s ever-present construction sites, the story reflects on craftsmanship, longevity and the ability to adapt without losing your identity.

Because the real beauty of a Timberland boot might be this: the older it gets, the better it looks.

Sembrerebbe ovvio che giustizia e vendetta appartengano a due universi morali opposti: la prima punisce in nome della legge, la seconda colpisce in nome dell’offesa subita. Eppure, alle origini della tradizione occidentale, questa distinzione non esisteva.

Marco Giudetti propone ad Ātman Journal un viaggio attraverso quattro secoli di pensiero greco, dall’VIII al IV sec. a.C., prendendo le mosse da una fascinazione: quella dello spettatore occidentale di fronte ai grandi film sudcoreani dedicati alla vendetta.

L’autore rovescia il senso comune e mostra come la vendetta, lungi dall’essere aliena alla nostra cultura, sia stata il fondamento della concezione originaria della giustizia in Occidente. Da Omero a Platone, passando per Esiodo, Anassimandro ed Eschilo, Giudetti segue le metamorfosi di questa nozione fino alla svolta socratica, che ridefinisce la pena non più come ritorsione, ma come cura.

Seeing outside through @antonroentz

Outside doesn’t have to be far. It can be found in the moments we share with others.

For photographer and filmmaker @antonroentz, being outside has always been tied to connection. Growing up in Berlin, it became something he experienced through time with friends, exploring, and simply being together.

“Being outside feels light and carefree to me. It’s closely linked to a sense of freedom, movement and togetherness. At the same time, you perceive things more intensely outside—you become more alert and present.”

Shot in motion and shaped by spontaneity, these images capture moments as they happen. Some planned, many not. Each leaving space for interpretation rather than telling a fixed story.

A reminder that outside looks different for everyone, and can start anywhere you are.

Wir nennen’s Ateliermode, da das @odeeh_official Duo auf einem verwunschenen Gutshof mitten im 5.000-Seelen-Dorf im fränkischen Giebelstadt mehrere Dutzend Schneider:innen in Lohn und Brot hält. Die Smoking-Hemden auf dieser Seite, die einzeln und im fertig genähten Zustand bedruckt werden, stehen exemplarisch für den Handwerksansatz von Odeeh, der jedes Teil zu einem Unikat mit Unregelmäßigkeiten macht. So sieht Luxus heute aus.
