Celebrating 2 years of @flourandbarrelnc with 10 courses was FIRE (get it…because there was fire?) 🫣🔥

And even more exciting was previewing items for the reopening of @high_horse_nc which was one of my fav restaurants back in 2020!! 🎠

Swipe to see the courses, but more importantly see the archive of old High Horse moments like me throwing a shot glass, gnawing on a Tomahawk bone and their iconic unicorn cake💃

Flour and Barrel is always a vibe.

Why isn’t their fire and acrobatics at every dinner?

🍽️Course 1 and 2
Roma Tomato Soup
Cornbread with honey truffle butter (I will be eating this by the pound when High Horse reopens)

🍽️Course 3 and 4
Artichoke Salad
Endive Salad

🍽️Course 5
Stuffed Piquillos (I could drink that pomodoro sauce)

🍽️Course 6
Grouper in a deviled ham and crab sauce (DON’T SKIP THIS. I could also drink this sauce)

Roasted Sirloin (Just look at it. I don’t think I need to say a word)

Mezcal Fusilli (you better LOVE truffle for this one)

Tuna Crudo (it was in a citrus vinaigrette, which is my love language)

Oh and with those 10 courses, there were 10 different cocktails. Ya girl couldn’t keep up.

NOTE THOUGH: There will be a cocktail called “Fortune Cookie Flip” at High Horse that has a fortune cookie syrup in it. YOU NEED IT 🥠

The OG High Horse had ice shot glasses that you drank and threw at the bell to shatter! Mine happened to go above the bell and into the street….but like same thing.

Give me a tomahawk and I won’t leave a bite behind.

The most FUN cake I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

The RSC team helped @katsushirtp make its debut at @boxyardrtp in Durham recently.

The newest concept from restaurateur Anthony Rapillo and Top Chef alum Katsuji Tanabe brings made-to-order hand rolls, rice bowls, cocktails and bold Japanese inspired flavors to the Triangle.

From introducing the concept to local media and creators to building buzz around opening day, our PR efforts resulted in an estimated 17M total impressions to help put this delicious new restaurant on the Triangle’s radar.

Roll with it. 🍣 Top Chef alum @katsujitanabe and restaurateur Anthony Rapillo (@antrap)’s latest concept (and third collab), @katsushirtp, is officially open on the second level of @boxyardrtp—with a revival of Tanabe’s beloved High Horse still to come later this year.⁠

Rooted in Tanabe’s Japanese heritage, the new walk-up spot centers on made-to-order Japanese hand rolls—warm rice and ultrafresh fish wrapped in crispy nori and meant to be devoured on the spot. Choose from combos like spicy tuna with sesame truffle mayo, passion fruit shrimp with wasabi aioli, and salmon with pickled carrots, plus rice bowls starring everything from salmon poke to crispy mochiko chicken.⁠

And because sushi deserves a sidekick: Sip yuzu lemonade, coconut or horchata matcha, and Thai tea—with the option to spike ’em—or grab a Japanese beer or cocktail from the outdoor bar. 🍹⁠

@lataqueriaboxyard is everything y’all told me it would be! Small menu by @katsujitanabe that is made to order on handmade corn tortillas. (Partner)
My favorite meat is their chorizo with the green salsa, but I also tried my first cow tongue taco here and it was soooo goooood.
Options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan taco lovers too!

Don’t miss this one. It might seem a little pricey for a taco shop at first, but when you get a heavy taco in hand, it will make sense. These are loaded.
