This past Saturday, Abiodun (@abiodunsalamade), one of our Youth Assistants in the Youth Skills Development Programme (YSDP), held a Gender Inequality Awareness Program to sensitize young people about gender issues in their community and empower them to promote gender equality.

Her project is aligned with the fifth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 5) which is to "achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls." In addition to hear from the keynote speaker and interacting with the panelists, the young attendees were able to share their experiences of gender inequality and how they plan to help their communities become more equal and just.
