The moodboard said: modern vintage, dandy, elevated and warm.

Think TOAST meets Harry Styles.

And somehow, it led us here — to the most gorgeous former atelier of artist Georg von Swetlik, @atelje.vonswetlik a space he created while starting his life over in exile.

It became the setting for TAUKO No.21, REDESIGN — an issue filled with stories and patterns about rethinking, transforming and beginning again.

Yesterday in Porkkala, photographing something very special: @laine_magazine 10-year anniversary issue. Along the shoreline and in the forest, under a completely cloudless, blue sky.

There were gulls singing overhead, one furious squirrel, snakes warming themselves on the rocks, lots of laughter and the familiar rhythm of a team that knows each other well.

And maybe that’s what this issue is really about, too. Not only knitting, photography or magazines, but the people behind them: the friendships, trust and shared history built slowly over ten years. 🖤
