We’re now in the part of the season when the nice weather is more-or-less here to say... except when Avon T&F have a scheduled meet. Weather-wise, we seem cursed in the year 2026. So, although we had beautiful weather all week on either side of the meet, of course we had rain on-and-off all afternoon for our home meet against Conard.

Despite the weather, we had great performances on Wednesday, with both boys’ and girls’ teams winning the meet and several new post-season qualifiers, as well as a ton of huge PRs!
Highlights:
— Boys’ 4x100m Relay Team (Jaemin Aziz, Wellington Mahoney, Jayden Morales, Jude Adinortey): State Qualifier!
— Amelia Turken: 400m SQ!
— Wellington Mahoney: 100m SQ!
— Chris Campbell: 3200m SQ!
— Andrew Kessler: 400m & 800m SQ!
— Kenrich Antonio: 300m Hurdles SQ!
— Elin Carboni: 800m Conference Qualifier!
— Ella Godbout: 800m CQ!
— Desiree Graves: High Jump CQ!
— Advaith Kollu: 800m CQ!
— Andrew Kim: 300m Hurdles CQ!

There are several athletes competing in Invitationals this week, including the Greater Hartford Invite and the annual Distance Festival; check back here for more highlights and results!
