I had the absolute pleasure of making a bespoke bandana design for my sweet friends Jo and Anya’s wedding in September! Several months ago, they reached out with the bandana request alongside one of the best wedding mood boards I’d ever seen, which included powerful mid-autumn festival vibes, big fluffy moths, butternut squash soup, flavored seltzer, and MILK. Could your faves ever? Their motifs were too amazing, so I thought... how can I incorporate as much of this as possible??

The result was this super sweet, autumnal inspired bandana with the two lovebirds themselves represented as monk parakeets 🥲

They thoughtfully gifted these bandanas to each guest as part of their table settings. I might be biased but this bandana is already an autumn wardrobe staple in my household!

This is one of my favorite types of commissions to do. If you or someone you know wants a custom bandana design for a wedding, birthday party, dog celebration of life, definitely let me know!

Gasping over the new mural in the @kellerlibrary meeting room. “The Storybrook” by artist @anyaboz features local wildlife reading, with nods to classic works of children’s literature.

Jo here! I'm so excited to announce my next project in development under the Stray Lungs banner, with art direction by the incredible @anyaboz—

MY DARLING MONK, a Journey to the West visual novel.

My Darling Monk is a story of choice, change, and transformation. It's also a story of being irresistibly yummy to monsters (smash), solving problems for useless monarchs (pass), and having absolutely no powers at all.

And it's a love letter to a five hundred year old beloved adventure epic, the beautiful mountains and valleys of Taiwan, and chubby Tang dynasty ladies.

More to cooooome!!
