200 hours of yoga teacher training with @nicolewildcollective and @silvanalasana in Portugal! 🌞 I feel a new sense of awe and curiosity about what it means to be alive in a human body- I can’t wait to keep learning, flowing, and growing in this mysterious world ✨

2024 or as much as Instagram would let me put in there (it also only let me tag 20 people so just know I didn’t forget about you if you were there). A lot more happened but I’m also bad at taking my camera out cause I’m just livin.

2025: we’ll see what happens

Cheers 🥂 🍻

I love the North Cascades so much. These pictures are from our most recent (and first non-guided) mountaineering trip, an attempt at summitting Eldorado Peak, mostly looking south towards Johannesburg Mountain. We planned for months, trained with heavy packs on difficult hikes, had beautiful weather during our permit slot, and we still got our asses kicked by the elevation gain and mixed terrain. The trail starts going straight up and it never stops, which was a very different experience than trails with switchbacks and longer mileage.

We did a pretty good job preparing for the trip, but ended up having a handful of things working against us that made it unwise to push for the summit. We had already ascended over 4k feet of elevation with 40+ lb packs by 5:30pm, and still had another 600-1000 feet to get to high camp while running out of energy and still needing to set up camp. We camped on a ridge with ridiculously good views and decided to sleep in the next day. We left with bruised egos, but better knowledge of what it takes to do these things on our own. More reason to eventually come back, with stronger legs for sure 😬

A Rocket 3 practice and some moments from the 50hrs Rocket YTT 🚀 in Greece

Couldn’t be more grateful for this Rocket 🚀 journey (that for me started last summer in Barcelona and keeps going…)! I feel so excited for completing another 50hrs of training and even more excited for coming along this training with close friends!
I am also very happy that the Greek Rocket yoga community keeps growing!
🙏🏻Thank you @aggelikimatopoulou and @rocketyogaathens for hosting the amazing @davidckyle 🚀

I wish for many more Rocket trainings to come!!
