- thank you to my parents, my siblings, teachers, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout my time at wakeland. eighth grade me was terrified of how wake would be bc all of my friends were going to reedy, but the rezoning was the best thing that has ever happened to me. joining guard has brought me some of my closest friendships (in band as well) and I plan on having them forever. i’m so grateful to have gotten to perform (injured or not) and show the world what I love pouring my heart into. and to my underclassmen friends, this isn’t good bye, it’s simply see you later. with this being said, peace out wake✌🏾(ok im done being sappy now)🤗
