With gratitude and enthusiasm, I close this year 2025, which has left me with many lessons learned, encounters with valuable people and occasional unexpected blows 💨 I want to share some images that are just a few brushstrokes on a background full of details and experiences lived from my existence as a person and as an artist.
1 - 3: I begin with a greeting (it’s always better that way) accompanied by the predominant ultramarine blue and a large-format painting (in progress at the time) that was exhibited at the Winckelmann Museum in the city of Stendal, along with a careful selection of graphic works from my project “OH, Fortuna!”. My first solo exhibition in a museum! 4 - 6: Curating a collective graphic art exhibition “FEHLDRUCKE” at @raumfuerdrastischemassnahmen ☀️ From the concept to the installation and selection of artists, to the well-attended opening, an activation workshop, and an auction: it was a complete success, and I feel very proud and grateful! I celebrate the existence of this project space in the heart of Berlin, which is soooo much more than just an project space ✨ We are a community, a chosen family in which we can support each other, and we are also a platform for countless powerful and sometimes more or less drastic artistic positions. Long live to the Raum, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026! There are things to come: stay tuned! 🌈 7 - 10: This year, I managed, collaborated on, and participated in several arts education experiences involving people from different generations and regions of Germany and the Global South. I am especially grateful to @lafi_berlin, @kfz_kunst_fuer_zukunft, @raumfuerdrastischemassnahmen, @jugendkunstschule_cranach for giving me the opportunity to get involved in projects that were both challenging and fun. The future is collective! 11 - 14: Memorable and loving family visits that remind me how fortunate am I ❤️ Life is made up of shared moments! 15 - 16: Excited about moving to a new studio in Berlin and looking forward to the year to come! * I’m very grateful to all the people who accompanied and helped me. You know who you are 🙏
