💥THE HATE CITY HEAVY HITTERS 💥

@facingthegallows are a five-piece heavy band from JHB, South Africa, bringing together crushing riffs, chaotic energy and an unapologetic love for heavy music.

Formed in 2007, FTG have spent nearly two decades carving out their place in the South African heavy music scene. From festivals and packed venues to sweaty club shows and chaotic pits, the band have built a reputation for energetic live performances and a genuine connection with the people in front of the stage.

Their sound pulls from metalcore, hardcore and everything in between, while their personality is just as much a part of the experience as the music. Expect breakdowns, big riffs, questionable stage decisions, high fives and plenty of stage dives.

Still going strong nearly 20 years in, Facing The Gallows aren’t interested in slowing down. They’re here to make heavy music, friends, memories and hella noise.
