Ready to level up your LightBox Expo weekend? Come support indie animation studios and join the fun! Here’s how to play 👇

1️⃣ Visit each participating indie studio/project's booth and ask about their stamp conditions
2️⃣ Collect all required studio stamps on the back of your card
3️⃣ Show your completed card to the designated booth and score a prize pack while supplies last!

This year, we have a whopping 15 studios in participation, so we've decided to divide up into 2 teams!

Sacramento, you stole our hearts! 💕 Silver Lake Shorts: NorCal was a rousing success and we were so proud to bring talent from all over Northern California together for the one and only CrockerCon at @crockerart ! Check out the line up and follow the work of these amazing California creators!

From meeting local comic artists, to watching @picturethiscomedy in a packed auditorium to seeing people decked out in full cosplay roam this beautiful art museum and take in their eclectic collections, @burgooneytunes and his team have crafted a truly unique and special event for community building and championing indie creators in California’s capital! We’ll be back and we encourage our Los Angeles community to come out as well!

Hey folks! It's been more than a week since Lightbox and I think I've now organized myself enough to make a post about it :D I will admit it was pretty overwhelming at first, as I've never been to a convention before. Quickly enough, I found myself breaking out of my shell and finding the courage to talk to just about anyone I could. Added bonus was seeing other folks from UArts there too :D

* On the fourth slide you'll see a collection of business cards and prints—a physical representation of all the people I connected with (I unfortunately can't tag everyone here due to instagram limits but I'm working hard to track down everyone's socials).

* The fifth and sixth slides are a collection of wonderful prints, stickers, pins, and keychains I got in the artist alley, either through tabling or people handing out freebies (unfortunately not all freebies are pictured as I'm still sorting them out 😫).

Thanks to all the wonderful people who took the time to talk and share their art with me! I had so much fun at my first lightbox and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

LBX 2025! I really gotta get better abt taking pics at these kinds of things lol. So grateful to meet friends again new and old. This weekend filled me with so much joy and creativity, great things are coming for animation, and I can see it in the people 🙌🏼
