Congrats to ROCK Athlete Alexandra Pestolis and team after a double-medalled performance, Gold and Bronze, in last week’s San Diego Men’s 8+ Masters Fall Classic.

Alex transitioned from a Division 1 Volleyball player to an elite coxswain, running for the Olympic team at LA28. The journey has been one she could write a book on, having medically retired from volleyball due to 6 years of multiple traumatic brain injuries and whiplash. She had to transition from being a workhorse physically to competing in a position that is 100% mental, learning how to maintain balance but also relearning how to regulate her nervous system. It’s allowed her to thrive on the water in high pressure situations where she is the eyes and ears of the boat. Since embarking on this new endeavor, Alex has been crushing it and it's such a joy to see her bounce back, adjusting, and keep pushing forward. Congrats again, Alex, and I'm excited to see what more you accomplish in this new phase of your life.

Nothing predictable about this kind of fun. One unpredictable bounce and it’s game on! That’s what makes VolleyBoard time so addicting.

Can’t find a fourth? No problem. Set the VolleyBoard to medium reactive difficulty and pepper off the board to keep the reps going. Simple, effective, and always game-like.
