Happy Saturday, everyone!

I am incredibly honored and humbled to share that I have been appointed as a Delegate representing the @aphanpn in the @aphapharmacists House of Delegates for the 2027 cycle!

This milestone is especially meaningful to me. Six years ago in 2020, while serving as Policy Vice President for my student chapter, I was set to serve as a delegate for the APhA-ASP House of Delegates. When the sessions were postponed due to the pandemic, I chose to step aside and pass the delegate seat to the incoming Policy VP so she could gain that valuable experience and support our chapter's long-term success. While it delayed my own timeline, it was the right decision to support our team.

Fast forward to today—bringing frontline retail experience into national governance is a full-circle moment. I am thrilled to represent early-career practitioners, engage in policy discussions, and attend the House of Delegates at the APhA Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina next year!

Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey in pharmacy leadership. I look forward to serving through 2027!

Navigating the professional org world can be daunting but the biggest piece of advice I received as a student was to spend your energy with people who are in your court. Who will support you, do the work with you, and celebrate the wins with you. I am so grateful to have found folks like this in places like APhA and PLS, two orgs I have the absolute humbling honor to serve at some of the highest levels for over the next few years. And now to serve alongside 5 (yes, 6 total, your NPAC getting a facelift 👀) individuals who have played instrumental roles in placing me in opportunities such as these… all the while becoming some of my closest friends. Does it get better??

Looking for something similar?? I know a place - APhA Day of New Practitioner Life, October 24-25, DC 😉

Did you know? HHS has extended PREP Act coverage for pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians to provide COVID-19 and flu vaccines and COVID-19 tests through 2029!

A big win for public health, especially in rural areas! Swipe to learn more.
