POV: you just turned TWO.

Photos with a two year old can be hit or miss. They’re just figuring out their voices, stranger danger’s a real thing, and if they miss their nap, forcing a smile out of them is unlikely. Honestly same though.

Maddie here is a pro. We started off listening to her favorite music and dancing around her room to set the mood. Then we checked out some of her toys before going out to the backyard. We found some pretty flowers and cool leaves. Said hi to the neighbor dog. Gave mom and dad some hugs. And then finished it all off with pretty balloons and a cupcake.

I love leading my family sessions with games and dancing, but having an activity for your littles to engage with is always a plus. Serves as a cute prop AND a good distraction.

When your photo session feels like playtime, the fun radiates through the pictures.
