Warming up creatively. Being active keeps you active. And this isn’t some pro-grind take, and more to do with how to engage in the creative work. At least i find more joy in the work when i feel ready to do the work. No sudden starts and stops, but a continuous flow ✨🌿✨

You can find all @applethief___ releases through my bio. The singles are on most DSP’s (with a Spotify exception).

If You Will - an outtake from the This Appearing writing sessions - is out now! If You Will is a song that celebrates love over hatred and greed. Perhaps a good mantra for the year to come. Looking back I must’ve thought If You Will would be too band-ey for the album. Perhaps I wanted to preserve the kind of disembodied nature of the album. But I really love the lyrics I wrote for If You Will (and the bass part!), so it would’ve been a shame not to release it. If Your Will is one of three or four songs that were left over after the writing and producing of my latest album. I might release more of them in the future.
.
If You Will is initially exclusively a Bandcamp release. After a few days the streaming services will catch on, and then you can stream the song on whatever platform your heart desires. I hope you give If You Will a listen. Link in bio.
Take care

FOG REVOLVER - This is a collaboration between the musician Applethief / Jyri Pirinen and the video artist Saana Inari. It reflects the feelings and reactions of an individual on our current sociopolitical environment. On artistic level this work marks new chapter for both: musician experimenting with new ways to produce vocals, and for the director, the first time creating moving image entirely virtually, with Unreal Engine.
If you want to immerse yourself in the full video, DM for the link.
The song is available on all streaming platforms.
