“rather an old fashioned gambit, eh, holmes?” - watson

getting to portray watson alongside saul as sherlock was a dream come true. from the moment i found out we would be this iconic duo i was ecstatic, we had so much fun every day and i couldn’t do it with anyone else. oh, and thank you for getting me into bbc’s sherlock, that just made this experience even more special… thank you to everyone involved, from the creative team for trusting in me (especially leah, jj, and zoe, i can’t thank you enough and indie for being my rock as always, i love you so dearly) to getting to do this show alongside some pretty amazing actors, you all made this experience so special, especially kore, i loved every scene i had with you, you support me constantly and keep me sane. you are an insanely talented actor and getting to act alongside one of my best friends is something i will never take for granted. i can’t forget about lola (“milk? no, no?! why did you ask me what you did? if i had seen anyone outside the house?” was one of my favorite moments with you), timothy, apollo, emma, tess, kenzie (“no, perkins- a hound of hell” was equally as fun!) and valeria, every single one of you are crazy talented actors and so kind, you all made this show the silliest, smartest, and most amazing show imaginable. thank you for making this the best experience for my first leading role, i have never played a character like watson, and it was such an incredible opportunity and challenge for me that i will forever be grateful for. this show will always have a special place in my heart. <3

now, here is one of my favorite lines from the show with no context :) if you missed our show, then i guess the mystery of what it means lives on…

”you’ll have to excuse my nerves, i’ve never encountered anything like this before, the supernatural is quite beyond me.”

goodbye hounds, goodbye sherlock, i’ll miss you!

“you’re being rude holmes.. positively rude… oh, the man has no mercy!”
