SATURDAY FINALISTS: Rain delay only meant more ball under the lights for our Saturday crew! Vibes were incredible and we’re so appreciative of everyone traveling to Richmond for the start of something new on the club scene. This comp was high level, and 8 different schools were represented in the Finals!

Dorey Park Grass was the real MVP, thanks to @henricosea for the incredible venue and for hooking our players up with discounted hotel rooms!

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today. It’s the same with ECVA points.

Today’s leaderboard recognizes the last 10 schools that have jumped on board this summer!

Interest in ECVA ‘Ships is high! 18 teams from 10 schools with lots more on the way. We love that you want to end the summer competing on the grass and meeting people from other schools. You’ll meet up again in Atlanta to end the year at Nattys! If you signed up for Open/AA already, we’ll reach out to see which level you want to be in. More divisions should mean better, more even comp.

Second, a question: Should ECVA Grass Championships be open to all college students? This would include schools that don’t have an ECVA team, and could even mean some NCAA D3 participants in our AA and Open divisions. What do you think?

All about the team tonight! Individual leaderboards coming tomorrow. The pace is heating up and leads are being built. Whether you’re on track for the podium or just having fun playing ball, look out for some fun perks of the GP coming your way soon.

A quick 5 schools have already jumped in on the ECVA Grass Championships in Richmond. Perfect post-tryouts team bonding trip?! We think so..

Summer just got a whole lot more competitive 🌞🏐

The ECVA Grass Grand Prix is here- it’s a season-long race where every tournament you play helps you AND your club..

Here’s how it works:
• Play in grass tournaments anywhere (yes, anywhere)
• Submit your results after you compete
• Earn points for playing, winning matches, and making deep runs
• Watch yourself climb the Individual Leaderboard AND help your school rise in the School Standings
And it stacks up fast:
– Every match win = points
– Beat another ECVA player = bonus point
– Make playoffs + finish strong = even more
– Play ECVA-affiliated events = DOUBLE points.

You don’t need the same partner every weekend. You don’t even need to stay in one place. Just play, report, and keep climbing. We’re partnering with orgs up and down the East Coast, and we’ll have leaderboards for multiple different divisions. Whether you’re an experienced grass baller or an indoor person stepping outside, we’ve got you.

By the end of the summer, the top players and schools earn prizes, travel support, and free entries… all leading up to the ECVA Grass Championships in Richmond on September 5–6. Registration for our Grass Championships will open on July 1, with a promo for signups through July 15.

So start the group chats. Lock in your partners. Find your tournaments. Details and links are in our Link in Bio- register to let us know you’ll be playing!
