Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!! ✨🌎

Every year, from September 15th to October 15th, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! It’s a time to recognize the history, achievements, and cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Whether it’s through food, music, traditions, or stories, this month gives us the opportunity to share what makes our cultures special, learn from one another, and celebrate the diversity that brings us together.

Swipe to read about some our sisters stories 😊

“Being Latina is a part of who I am and something I’m very proud of. Growing up I spent so much time with my Abuelo, who was born in Cuba. He would teach me about our culture and I would get to practice my Spanish. Carrying on our traditions and staying connected to my roots means even more since losing him two years ago. I’m grateful to celebrate my heritage in college and share this part of myself.“
- Cam’ryn Williamson

We all come from different places and have our own stories, but there is something beautiful about seeing how much love we share for our families, our cultures, and our roots. To me, Hispanic Heritage Month is about celebrating those roots together and being proud of everything that makes our cultures, and each of us, unique.”
- Carol Avigdor

“My culture means gathering around with my family and eating food, listening to music, and reminiscing on the good times that we’ve had. Theta has always made me proud of my culture and have never made me feel less than what I am because of my background.“
- Aileen Lopez

“Being a Latina and Dominican woman is something I carry with so much pride. My culture has shaped me into someone who values family, community, har
