I’m falling in love with this beautiful southern produce! We’re sourcing amazing strawberries from Chilton Co. For our summer hamachi crudo set. We slice them fresh and also steam them with salt and sugar to create a salty/sweet juice that forms the base of our aguachile. To finish it off, we sprinkle a little nostalgia on top with strawberry pop rocks! I’ve seen this done at a few sushi counters over the years and I always wanted to include it on my menus so here we are! Come get this all summer long at @littlebettysteakbar #birmingham #alabama #bama #bham #bhamnow #bhamfoodie #mountainbrook #upscale #crudo #hamachi #strawberries #summer #chef #cheflife #eater #truecooks

It’s been quite the busy week as we head to updating our menu for the first half of summer dropping tomorrow! This post is a few days late but letting the feeling sink in has been really rewarding. Thank you to everyone who voted us as “Best Upscale Restaurant” in the @mountainbrookmag Best of 2024! We are just a humble, busy little new restaurant that’s still figuring out its identity and place in the Bham dining scene and to receive this is just incredibly humbling! We couldn’t do this without our insanely dedicated team lead by my better half @chefbrit77 and our new sous chef @ccooking91 . Their perseverance and long hours does not go unnoticed as we strive to get better every single day. Also thank you to our FOH team for creating amazing experiences everyday for our guests. We are building something really cool here in Mountain Brook and we can’t be more excited for what’s next. #intothenight #fromthepass #mountainbrook #birmingham #birminghamalabama #bham #bhamnow #bhamfoodies #bhameats #eater #truecooks #delicious #bestof #awards #chef #cheflife #italianfood #steakhouse #steak

I might have missed “National Meatball Day” last week but it’s never too late for a hand rolled Duroc Pork meatball at @littlebettysteakbar . We went through several versions of this set before finding the perfect mix of pecorino, fatty ground heritage pork, and roasted garlic that really makes these beauties sing. I literally eat these daily and if you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out. Come and get it! Open till 10 tonight. #littlebettysteakbar #lbsb #littlebetty #steak #steakbar #delicious #meatballs #chef #cheflife #eater #alabama #birmingham #truecooks #bhamfoodie #foodie #bhamfood #italian #steakhouse #durocpork #pork
