Austin Peay State University students showed off their skills at the annual Govs Got Talent event at the Foy Fitness Center on Tuesday night, Sept. 29, 2026.

Hosted by Govs Programming Council and Student Life & Engagement, students got the opportunity to perform various dances, routines and songs in front of a live audience. Kennedy Davis took home the win with her incredible performance of “Love” by Keyshia Cole. Fuse Dance Company secured second place with a coordinated dance routine, and the Red Aces came in third.

I am so excited and truly honored to announce that I am running for Homecoming alongside @og_simpson14 proudly sponsored by the Govs Programming Council! ❤️

Being born and raised right here in Clarksville and a Governor since I was little, Austin Peay has always held a special place in my heart. Getting to now be a part of creating experiences and memories for the APSU PEAYple through GPC makes this opportunity even more meaningful.

I’m so excited to represent the Govs Programming Council, celebrate the university and community that have given me so much, and make this Homecoming one to remember!

LETS GO PEAY!!
