The guitar solo in Bewafa sits inside the emotional tension of the track rather than breaking away from it.

It opens the song up for a moment, but the instability never disappears. That was the point. The solo had to feel like part of the same psychological space as the rest of the song.

Bewafa out now

Been a whole year since we went to @zirofestival and played the incredible ‘Moon Stage’. Gonna be a whole lifetime before it leaves any one of us ❤️

Couldn't have done it without my
friends ❤️

Back in 2025 when i had the songs written and ready to record, I was certain I wanted to work with my friends. Friends whose company i first and foremost enjoy, but also feel comfortable and secure to share these songs with.

@zeek_zico and Suman were expecting their first child during the mixing stage of the EP. Despite dealing with and figuring his way around this massive change, he's gone above and beyond to produce and mix this EP with a lot of love and enthusiasm. Needless to say, he's done a damn good job with it!!

To @suyashmedh @aptebhau @rahulwadhwani_official @emmanuelsimonmusic & @ruvairi - Thanks so much for shaping the sound of this EP with your instruments, the abundant musicality you possess, and the love you've brought to these songs.. None of this would have worked out without either of you :)

Like Zico, @sixthnight has been a longtime collaborator, and perhaps brings the most articulate assessment of where the songs stand before he masters them. His views are pointed, kind and is very generous with his time and ability to do what he does best! Thanks a bunch man :)

To @taaabus & @Awkwardbong who have shot and designed the Artwork, pictures and visuals (which you will be seeing in days to come)
Thank you for showing up and giving me more than i asked for. It feels equally easy working and hanging out with you :)

To @dave_arrows @mikig2 & @satyajitchatterji - A big thank you to each of you for helping me with the things i struggle the most with - press releases, promotional material and all the work that goes on behind the scenes before a release ❤️

Finally, just like all other records this too is made with immense love, time, patience and a lot of money, lol.
I'm well aware there are a lot of things fighting for one's attention in 2026. However, it would mean the world to me if you could give these 4 songs, 16 mins of your time! It would mean even more if it makes you feel something ❤️

More Ways of Going Nowhere goes live at midnight - 23rd September

For you, Miti.

A year already? How strange it is to have coped this long — and roamed this world without you existing in it. But I know you’re still making important decisions, wherever you are, for all of us. It’s clearly it’s you, doing your silly dances among the stars, dangling them like puppets and showering us with your magic.

The fact that things have both changed so drastically since you left us, but also stayed the same, eases us a little (the leaders of the world are still wacko by the way, but no surprises there).

So many things we wish you could’ve seen or been a part of, but I think in your own way, you did experience them.

It is because of you that this illustration exists. It was a rushed creation before the memorial/reunion concert in Bombay last year with @neeladhikarimusic, @stillintherapy and @anandasen666, in honour of you.

It wasn’t until months later that @meghdutroychowdhury, after recently acquiring a T-shirt, too, got on a video call with one of the editors of @thisismotherland magazine - who were putting together their Kolkata issue - that the editor noticed the Miti T-shirt Meghdut was wearing and enquired about it. Because of that, my illustration and write-up about Miti is in their latest issue (page 38), out now!

Miss you, Miti mama. You were so much to so many.
