Mika Lammassaari has some great news to share with you all: Hello dear friends! I have the utmost pleasure to bring to your attention that FINALLY we have a physical release for my heavy endeavor, OBLIGATORY HUMAN DESTRUCTION self-titled debut album, which was recorded already in 2018&2019. We have a very limited release of 250 vinyls for you to enjoy. As this record might seem as a ”solo” album, I can not emphasize enough the amount of help I received during the production and release of this musical product. First of all this project would not have moved forward to mixing stage if I would not have had the help of my dear friend, Stefan Pommerin/Illusia Productions. We had a couple of long discussions during the recording process and it was to my amazement he was willing to join the production to help make it the best possible. And boy did he bring it! He is truly to thank for bringing this album to life. Stefan mixed and mastered the album and added some nice post-production tweaks also which gave just the right final touch to the music. Also I believe it was Rami Nykänen who helped also with the bass tones, so cheers Rami for the production help also! So when it comes to the album artwork, the cover design was created by Petteri Staven and OHD logo by Juuso Laatio. All promo pictures were taken and edited by Sinna & Juho Näppä. Album cover art layout and booklet design was made by Nikos Stavridakis/VisionBlackArt. All the artwork really support the sonic brutality of the album so I could not be happier with the outcome! Finally and definitely the biggest driving force behind the Vinyl release are Lenka Pavlova and Marek Eineigel, who pretty much did everything by themselves only for the benefit of this release. I´m just amazed for all the effort and pure selflesness music seems to create amongst people. Simply amazing! So huuuuge just huge thanks to them for all the work they put into realising this Vinyl release! —- Continues in comments:

WHATEVER AWAKENS… Greetings and happy summer to all of you: may the warmth of the sun dissipate all tension and bring you closer to your loved ones! WEG, as you may know, has gone through quite a bit of changes during the last couple years. We came in swinging at the end of 2021 and brandished three productions within fifteen months. Along that journey we welcomed two new members to our core team, hosted a handful of interns and dove deeper into the international market. Our company profile has been and (will continue to be) polished, our prolific plethora of ideas maintains its colossal capacity and our unique knack for setting ourselves apart continues to be the steam that propels us into the future. As with any business that stems from a labor of entrepreneurship, it was difficult to know where WEG was heading in the beginning, the possibilities being both endless and restricted. But over time that changed. It has been an immense delight to watch our reflection materialize before us, fed by the insatiable thirst for a company that stood for something meaningful. This awakening has been stewing for over decade, but within the last two years it finally became a tangible, discerning, constantly-evolving entity: something we could taste and feel, even if at times the words were lost on us as to how to translate such a phenomenon. Whatevergroup is a company that is paramount to the fundamentals of our existence, not just for the five of us, but for whomever steps into the depths of our world. We are all an essential ingredient to the auras that fuel our creative drive and our ancestral desire for recognition. As we continue to evolve in this industry, we have resolved to build more than just our company - our community deserves the same earnest attention. The industry expansion in Oulu is important to all of us and in unison our voice is much louder than as mere individuals. We hope to encompass all those who wish to be a part of our company journey and our productions, thrusting us all into a shared limelight, for we stand by the belief that if one of us makes it, we all make it.
