I went and saw the film "Resident Evil" this evening. I really liked it! Resident Evil is a slick, thrilling, and bloody blast of a horror film with a twisted imagination, a loveable main character, genuinely terrifying jump scares, and armed with a shockingly humorous wit.

The superb script by Shay Hatten and director Zach Cregger tells a dark atmospheric tale of survival filled with non stop suspense and tension that moves at a fast pace.

Austin Abrams stars in a phenomenal charismatic performance. There are some really good performances from Kali Reis, Paul Walter Hauser, Zach Cherry, and Will Merrick.

The cinematography is impressive by Dariusz Wolski and it is accompanied by a cool score by Hays & Ryan Holladay. It's expertly edited by Joe Murphy and it has some crazy effects along with some great costume design, set decoration, art direction, and production design. Zach Cregger did a fantastic job directing this fun, chilling, and absolutely insane horror film that I would recommend.

PERFECT Resident Evil experience!
What a f*** blast!💥

at a taut 90 minutes, “Resident Evil” is everything I’ve ever wanted in a “RE” film.

it's disgusting, chaotic, and relentlessly entertaining from start to finish.

You spend the whole movie rooting for Bryan, and the final stretch will leave your mouth hanging open.

We finally have a great movie adaptation.
Well done Zack! 👏🏻 4/5🩸

Being along time fan of RE playing the games with my little brother, watching this movie takes me back to those childhood memories of surviving in the game 🎮
