Medal Monday 🏅 50 miler ✅
@upstateraceseries Sadlers Creek Stumble

This was my first ultra marathon, I honestly didn’t know what to expect and the pre race jitters of the unknown were there. But this was a great introduction to the trail and ultra world. Not only are you running, walking but also camping, you can take a nap, you can eat and the views were great. Huge thank you to @araej for being there and congratulations on your 2nd 50 miler of the year.

Goodbye to a beautifully packed September! 🥹✨

15+ events planned and coordinated, milestones crushed and celebrated, birthdays enjoyed, countless miles driven, and so much excitement and love felt along the way. 🥰

September, you were FULL. 🤎

Hello, October! 🎂🍂

50+ miles. A watch that died twice. And a training cycle that definitely did NOT go as planned. 😂🏃🏾‍♀️

But somehow, we made it happen! My first ultra is officially in the books, and I’m so grateful I got to experience it running alongside @araej. There were definitely some moments where I questioned what we signed up for lol, but there were even more moments of laughter, good conversation, and just enjoying the miles.

And a HUGE thank you to @southernpearlita for showing up, supporting us, walking a few miles with us, and just being the BEST cheerleader. Having you out there cheering us on meant more than you know! 🥹🫶🏾

54 miles later… I’m an ultramarathoner. 🤎🏃🏾‍♀️✨

Welcome home squad! 🏡☺️

Last week the squad hosted our first event in The Madhouse and we’re excited to have a home base!! It’s more than somewhere to meet, it gives us space to bring ideas to life, host our community, create experiences, and continue finding ways to make an impact beyond running.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, helped build, planned, sweated, and put the work in. And to our sponsor, @watsonattorney, and all of our partners who continue to believe in what we’re doing at @campnorthend, thank you!

There’s just something special about @aroundthecrown10k ✨

Last year, it was my first 10K and the race that really fueled my fire to start running longer distances. One year and a whole lot of races later…whew 😅

Swipe to the end to see how that race really had me feeling

Medal Monday and WOW. @aroundthecrown10k never disappoints. I’m always amazed at how Brian & Chelsea (ATC founders) remain so poised and full of smiles and great energy with 10,000 people running around the city of Charlotte. 😮‍💨 congrats to ALLLL the runners. Keep going!

Oh and this is just a sneak peak of Sunday!! 😆

Shoutout to the full ATC media team. And thanks @camblackmon for that shot of me! 💪🏽🔥

@aroundthecrown10k never disappoints, even when you fall short of your goal. Sometimes not getting what you want can help you to see what matters and how far you’ve come. ATC 2019 was my first race. I knew nobody and I was terrified. I’d never done 6 miles that fast, or without walking. I was afraid of getting swept. When I finished, I was just standing at the finish filled with emotions and no clue what to do with them. I took a couple photos, tried walking around, and eventually just left. This year, I did what is now just second nature. I walked back along the course to cheer people on. I started off being bummed about my race, but that only lasted about 200m. I don’t think I went longer than 2 minutes without seeing someone I knew. I can cry and make excuses about why I didn’t hit my goal, but it turns out that’s not what the weekend was about. I saw hundreds of my friends, made a bunch of new ones, met long time internet friends in person for the first time, and got a sweet medal. Kept my streak going of ATC, and had fun doing it. Love this race, and the community that fills it. #aroundthecrown10k #madmiles #runcltrun
