When I installed my locs in 2021, I planned to keep it for 5 years. But sometimes last year I got bored and decided I will loosen it in December. The decision kept getting difficult because a few months to December, the length and health of the hair had become so beautiful I contemplated keeping it. But I stood on business and took it out and December; loosing some volume but retaining a good percentage of length, thanks to my loctician aralocs.
Ask me anything about getting or taking out dreadlocks.
My locs were installed by my good friend @duduebony_naturaltresses, and the my sister @aralocs opened and took over the maintenance. She also said the reason I was able to retain much length was the quality of the maintenance.

@aralocs shared some things you should consider before choosing your starter locs method and the difference between Sisterlocs and Microlocs for those who haven’t gotten the gist yet.

Share with your buddy who is still considering if they should loc their hair.
