Kalayaan Gala was actually dope 🇵🇭✨
Thanks @kamayan_atl for the invite!

I honestly had no idea how many Filipino organizations were out here in Georgia, where everybody been at?!

Cool to see everyone gathered in one room celebrating Philippine Independence Day.. my favorite was seeing everyone dressed OUT and styled para sa kultura…so many OGs out here. I loved the LuzViMinda displays showcasing regions and they had cosplayers of LapuLapu and McArthur haha

Appreciated the cultural dances cause I grew up having to do that too 😅 Finally got to wear my @vintagallery bolero butterfly sleeves tho

80th birthday ni lola! 💐

We wrapped up and then kicked off our week with back to back Kamayan Feasts and with Ara’s help, each feast was personal, intimate and memorable.

Lola (grandma) came all the way from Charlotte. We’re tickled pink that she chose Kamayan to celebrate such a milestone birthday!

We will soon have not just one, but 2 private rooms for y’all to book and we haven’t even opened our new space yet but you’ve already started reserving and inquiring about them.

Email Ara at AraKamayanATL@gmail.com or IyaKamayanATL@gmail.com for all your catering needs!

In the restaurant industry, efficiency, speed, and execution are key.
But for me, a crew’s true value lies in the joy and care they bring to work every day - not just for guests, but for each other.
We’re a team, a family, learning and growing together.
It’s tough work, but a little appreciation and acknowledgement make it all worthwhile.

Salamat, BOH and FOH team! Love you boo boos! Happy Valentine’s Day! 💜

Salamat, @michelinguide sa ikatatlong taon.
Collectively, we stepped into our power and claimed our space!

And this year, we all made a pact to do better, make more and give more.
Positivity flows while having each other’s backs.
It won’t always be easy but we’ll keep the momentum going as a team, as a family because showing up for one another matters.

We are Kamayan, and yes, we 💜💜💜 being in the Michelin Guide!

Mahal namin kayo.
Let’s eat. Y’all are cared for here.

BAON.

It’s more than just food; it’s a tradition of showing concern and ensuring sustenance, often packed with simple, beloved Filipino dishes like Humba with 🍚 or Pancit & Lumpia.

It’s essentially a packed lunch or provisions you take with you for work or school, or a trip. It’s deeply cultural and personal, signifying love and care, often prepared by parents or a loved one as a daily act of affection. #lambing

We cater Baon meals Monday-Sunday for companies, clinics, 🎥 film crews, hospitals.
We also make BINALOT (Baon that’s wrapped in banana leaves, no plastic containers!).

If you’d like your colleagues to experience these comforting and delicious, packed lunch made with Kamayan 💜 and touch, please contact our events and catering team:
ARAkamayanATL@gmail.com or IYAkamayanATL@gmail.com

We deliver as early as 9 AM.

To our current corporate clients, salamat po!!

Happy Birthday to our OG, chef Pasta John @john8671wilson

We have about 5 years worth of photos together but more than that, countless hours of laughter, SMH moments, a few tears here and there and through it all, he has our back and we have his.
We love you PJ, let’s celebrate! 🎉
It’s our turn to sing to him, y’all! 🎶 🎤

Norby, Happy Birthday!!

He has seen and was there for the many Kamayan iterations, pivots, and yes, growth.
He’s our beloved Mexipino 🇲🇽x 🇵🇭, a kuya (big brother) to our Kamayan crew, the one who has worn the most hats at Kamayan.

Norby, wherever life takes you and whatever the universe has in store for you, we’ll be here for you. You have always been like a son Carlo never had, and we’re grateful to you.
🥂 to possibilities!
The best is yet to come! HBD!
💜💜💜

This show has been an incredible experience. The small part I was able to have in this show is something I will cherish forever. I’ve met so many amazing and talented people through this journey, that I will hold onto. I wish I got pictures with everyone to share, but here are some of the pictures behind the scenes I did manage to get. Although this is the end, and my last Cobra Kai post… Haven’t you heard that
COBRA KAI NEVER DIES🐍🥋🫶
