May you find that one human who is for you what this lady is to me. The sun 🌞 to my moon 🌗. The light to my dark. My sister in this universe, the next, and all those hidden beyond the stars. Happy Birthday, @arc.18 — my life, and the lives of all those who know you, are infinitely enriched because you exist. Long may you shine. Love you always 💙💙🫶🫶(Picture of me to the left and the beauteous birthday girl on the right, smiling outside the Ridgewood Tatte.)

“The Svarasa Retreat at Ananda Ashram was simply magical… calling for us to simply be, in our authenticity.”

This is what it looks like when someone says yes to themselves.
In August 2025, we gathered at Ananda Ashram for Svarasa—three days of rest, reconnection, and sisterhood. No performing. No fixing. Just space to re-set, be nurtured, and return home to yourself.

We’re endlessly grateful to our community for trusting us with their hearts and their healing. Sharing these stories matters—because Svarasa isn’t something we sell, it’s something you experience.

If you’ve been feeling the pull… maybe this is your sign 🤍

You didn’t come here to escape.
You came to arrive. To feel your breath deepen, your body unwind, your heart expand with each exhale.

During our pranayama workshop, led by the luminous Marquita, we watched release ripple through the room — a collective sigh that said I’m safe here.
If you’ve been craving rest that reaches the soul, this is your invitation. @marquitapring

“I was only there for a day… but somehow it felt like a week.”

Mollie joined our inaugural retreat on a day pass, yet still felt the profound energy and connection of being in community at Ananda Ashram. For her, disconnecting from the outside world and reconnecting with herself — while sharing practices with the group — was a true gift.

The images in this post are from Mollie’s own camera roll, taken by her during our inaugural August retreat at Ananda Ashram. @mollies_memories_

At Svarasa Retreats, we bring together ancient yogic practices — sound, asana, meditation, chanting, and open-hearted community. When woven together over a weekend, these practices create the space for deep release, renewal, and transformation.

You can experience this too. Join us for our next retreat at Ananda Ashram, Nov 14–16.

Limited spots available — link in bio to book.

Moments of stillness. Movements of the heart.

Our latest retreat at Ananda Ashram was a gentle journey inward, where every breath, every pose, and every shared smile brought us closer to ourselves and to one another. Guided by presence and intention, our group flowed through yoga that touched body, mind, and spirit.

Grateful for this luminous weekend, and for the quiet magic that unfolds when we come together in practice.

This past week at Ananda Ashram, our hearts opened together on our very first retreat.

With @kikayoga guiding us through heart-centered yoga and meditation, we moved, breathed, and rested into a deep connection with ourselves—and with each other. The weekend was quiet, luminous, and full of presence, reminding us of the beauty in stillness and the power of shared intention.

Grateful for every moment, every breath, and every soul that joined us. For those who couldn’t be there, the energy of this weekend lingers—and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

This weekend I gave myself the gift of slowing down—and it gave me so much more in return. ✨

I spent three days at @anandaashram with @svarasaretreats , surrounded by incredible people, learning about ashram living, savoring nourishing Ayurvedic meals, moving through gentle yoga, and experiencing truly life-changing breathwork.

What surprised me most? The way my energy felt so clear as I left, like I had dusted off a part of my spirit that had been buried for far too long. I didn’t just rest my body—I deeply and intentionally listened to it.

This is the heart of my Befriending Your Body journey: learning that self-care isn’t only face masks or quiet evenings (though I love those too!). It’s somatic, spiritual, and deeply human. It’s creating space to reconnect with your whole self—the body, the breath, the heart—and allowing yourself to be cared for in community.

If you’ve been craving that kind of reset, I can’t recommend Svarasa Retreat enough. The facilitators were extraordinary, the other guests felt like instant friends, and every moment felt intentional and nourishing.

I came home not just rested, but renewed. 💚🕊️

Have you ever been surprised by how much your body or spirit had to say once you finally got quiet enough to listen?

Heart is full after a beautiful weekend with @svarasaretreats - it was a nourishing weekend of growth, healing and uprooting. Special thanks to all the women who came and shared their stories, dropped in during breathwork and left feeling much more grounded and connected to self love. I can’t wait for the next one! 🥳🤸🏽‍♀️💝✨

This weekend we gathered for our inaugural retreat at Ananda Ashram—held in the quiet embrace of nature.

Together, we shared presence, practice, and community—a reminder that being held by each other is a form of therapy all its own.

Deep gratitude to everyone who joined us for this beginning. May the ripples of our time together continue to move through your lives with gentleness and grace.
