Sometimes I gotta remember this is a pitching page! 😅 Couple clips of @ben_b0wers18 & @jacoby_jones08 shoving at the Big 8 Bash today. Could watch these guys throw the rock all day. Pretty mechanics, gross stuff.

Controlled chaos down the mound & past hitters. Lucky to get to work with guys of this caliber on an every day basis.

The thing they have most in common to each other that anyone & everyone can learn from: They compete. They stand on that mound like they are untouchables. Better than anyone dumb enough to stand 60ft 6in away with a bat in their hands.

The staff is shaping up 🦫

In the grand scheme of things, followers are followers. Social media is social media. It really doesn’t matter but I will say that 1k followers is a cool milestone for somebody that has never really tried at social media.

It’s incredibly cool to me because this page has become a shrine of the badass baseball & softball players I’ve trained, the teams I have coached in my coaching career, the coaches I’ve coached with, the other trainers I’ve met, my fitness journey that I’ve fallen in love with, the people I have met throughout, & so much more.

It’s all memories that I’ll look back on & be proud of. I really do train/coach some dawgs. I really have made some incredible memories. Crazy that this is my career. From the ground up. 🫶🏽

Go follow if you don’t already! We’re only getting started ⚾️🥎 Throw this a repost if you’ve been apart of the page & journey! Let’s blow this thing up.

I want to start this post off by saying that I am 100% satisfied with my playing career. All that it was & all that it wasn’t. I knew then and I know now exactly who i was & who I am as a player, a coach, and a human being. I am content.

All that to say this; MAN I miss throwing that ball. I miss competing. I miss working toward a common goal with my brothers. I miss trying to mold myself into the best ball player I could be. I miss chasing perfection knowing damn well I’ll never achieve it. I miss the chase.

Everybody’s career comes to an end at some point and I am so damn grateful for what came once my playing days came to an end.

I became a travel ball coach for a couple years. I became a personal trainer. I became a business owner. I became a high school coach for a year. And now I’ve become a college coach for the last 4 years. It’s been a journey.

I met some amazing people along the way. I’ve made connections that’ll last a lifetime. I’ve shared laughs with people I hope to know forever. I’ve told & heard jokes that I will tell my kids in the future. I’ve won, I’ve lost. I grew a mustache. I shaved it once and got roasted. I never shaved it again. I get to coach with my brother. I helped end a 20 year playoff drought in only two years at the collegiate level. I’ve cried when the season ended. I’ve opened my heart to success & failure. I’ve gotten to teach my future wife the game of baseball through her being a fan of the Beavers. I’ve given about 10,000 high fives.

I’ve had purpose to wake up & be my best self every day. Because once again, I am chasing perfection that I’ll never catch. WE are chasing perfection. I love the chase. I found my way back to baseball. I found my way back to myself.

Not a day will go by that I don’t appreciate everything this game has given me. Everything I’ve worked for. Everything I have now. I wouldn’t trade it & I’ve loved every second of the grind. The good days, bad days, and everything in between. To the next 20 years ⚾️🫶🏽

Take this post as your sign to take a risk you’ve been wanting to take. Start that career.

Swipe to the end to see the journey unfold 🥹👀

Posting this reel for no other reason besides wanting as many people as possible to know that @zachlad34 has been chuckin’ it. Kid has been up to 93 this fall with some wicked movement. And we’re only getting started 👀

Publicity is publicity. Why wait for the spring to get people excited of what’s to come? 🦫

Stay healthy, attack the zone & throw the ball by hitters. That’s what AR pitching is all about ⛽️

Some days you just gotta throw the damn thing like you caught it kissin’ on your girlfriend 🤷🏽‍♂️

HUGE congrats to @brandon_p34 for finally touching 95 in a bullpen. Men lie, women lie, Trackman doesn’t lie! And this kid’s work ethic / love for the game doesn’t lie either 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

Came here just over a year ago and was sitting 86-87, touching 88. I told him we would HELP get him to 97 & now here we are sitting 93-94, touching 95. Screw it, let’s go for 100? 💯

Proud of you dude. We’ll always celebrate your victories & have your back during your failures. Thank you for trusting the process & knowing there are no shortcuts. WE GOTTA GUY 🦫

If you know me at all, you know that 5 year old Marcus is going insane right now 🥹

I know not everything should be made deep but I believe everything in life that matters should be romanticized. Growing up, the reds became my favorite team because it was my first t ball team & Ken Griffey Jr had just signed there. If you know my family, Griffey is & always will be the absolute GOAT. From Seattle to Cincinnati.

It was always my dream to visit Great American Ballpark & now I AM WRITING THIS CAPTION 5 ROWS BACK FROM THE FIELD. Not many people’s dream to visit Cincinnati of all places but here we are 🫶🏽

First time but definitely not the last. Cincinnati vs the world.

S/O @lyzbriones for watching Reds highlights with me every night and now helping make a dream come true 🫡

Beaver Bullpens are back 👀

Just a few of the guys we have but there are countless more 🦫

Health & development is all we care about. Velo, pitch shape, pounding the strike zone & flat out competing like a dawg.

Arm after arm after arm after arm 💪🏽 Excited to see what comes of this group of baseballers.
