A.R.C. (Artists Respecting Communities) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY AWARENESS & ACTION THROUGH ARTS &CULTURE.

As Salaam Alaikum! Thirty-one years ago, the Houston Local Organizing Committee of the Million Man March was formed. It evolved from the conceptual framework of the Operational Unity Network initiated by the current Chairman of the National Black United Front, Kofi Tahara. In addition to the Million Man March, we have organized for the Million Family March (2000), The Millions More Movement (2005), and Justice or Else 10-10-15 (2015). The work of the Houston LOC has not ceased. We continue to work on issues of importance to our community in the meantime and in between times. Lastly, we cannot resolve our current challenges, receive reparations for the past injustices, or prosper in the future without unity and organization. Join or restart your city's LOC. Seek, find, and unite with like-minded individuals and formations for the greater good. Operational Unity is UNITY without UNIFORMITY. LONG LIVE THE SPIRIT OF THE MILLION MAN MARCH HOLY DAY OF ATONEMENT, RECONCILIATION, AND RESPONSIBILITY! #MillionManMarch #organized #unity #prosperity #reparations #atonement
