The Stellar Veil 🩵🌌

Rating: 4/5⭐️
Genre: Space fantasy
Release date: 18 May 2026

I was so excited to embark on an another adventure with Mo and Ezra! This book did not disappoint!

It was action packed and felt like watching a Star Wars movie as they traveled from planet to planet. I loved reading about the Revenant crew again and how close-knit they all are. The romance definitely amped a bit up in this book which I adored! I love how H.E. Bauman builds up her slow burns 🤭

Also can we talk about that ending?! We’re in for a ride with book 3 😭

There was a lot going on so this book took me a bit longer to get through but I enjoyed it nonetheless!🫶

Thank you so much to the author @hebauman for an e-arc of this book!

Between Tides & Thunder 🌊⚡️

Rating: 4/5⭐️
Genre: NA Fantasy
Release date: 31 March 2026

There was never a dull moment with this book! What a well written and engaging read 🤭

The storyline of this book flowed so incredibly well. Just when you thought things would slow down they picked up again! I especially loved the little twist about half way through the book 👀

Maya, the dmv surprised me so much with how many layers she had as a main character. She had me picturing her a certain way only to surprise me later on in the book. I must say I loved reading about how much more than just a picture perfect princess she was.

Zev, is definitely made for all my Matthias Helvar and Lorcan girlies. It’s one of the reasons I loved his character so much 😂 He reminded me of “could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll for one person”. I do have to say that I don’t agree with every thing he did but I can see why it was necessary for the storyline.

*Please make sure to check the trigger warnings before reading this book.*

Thank you so much to the author @leenakazakbooks for an arc of this thrilling read! I have a feeling this book is going to be the next big thing 🤭🥳🫶

Running out of road 🍃🛣️

Rating: 4/5⭐️
Genre: Contemporary romance
Release date: 12 March 2026

This book was like all of Noah Kahan’s songs wrapped up in a book. The fact that it was set in Vermont just amplified those feelings 🥹

I saw myself in so many ways in Daisy. She honestly gave some major mirrorball vibes which I loved. She had such a big heart and really did the most for Theo.

Theo was such a complicated character. His struggle with addiction felt so raw and real in the way it was written so well. I loved seeing him grow as a person and overcome his struggle with addiction.

My heart really went out to these characters. Both Daisy and Theo have been through so much. I was so happy to see them being there for each other and supporting each other. Their romance progressed in the best way! Also the suspense in this book was the perfect touch! I absolutely ate it up 🤭 (we get so many protective Theo scenes)🤭

This was a bit of an emotional read. Just like book 1 I balled my eyes out with this one 😭 I enjoyed it so much and I think I’ll always enjoy anything Emily Tudor writes! She gets you right in the feels!🥹

Thank you so much to Emliy Tudor for this amazing arc 🫶

First bookclub of the year!🍊🐉 @wellandreadjhb

For this month’s bookclub we read Priory on the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon!

The meet up place for this month’s bookclub was absolutely stunning! It really felt as if we’re sitting somewhere in the gardens of the Priory in the book. I had such a great time (and laughs) and can’t wait for the next one!

If you’ve ever wanted to join a in person bookclub, this is your sign! It’s so much fun! I know it might seem scary but trust me once you’ve tried it you’ll be so happy you did 🥹

Mini review ~ Priory of The Orange Tree 🍊
⭐️ 4/5
Not going to lie, this book was super intimidating to start and the world building and cast of characters were a lot at first but I actually really loved this book! Samantha Shannon just has a way of writing diverse and rich fantasy stories like no one else. One thing that stood out to me that I loved was the fact that there were interpreters to communicate between all the characters from the different regions in this book! I mean how unique and cool is that?! Even though this book is quite thick, it was really enjoyable and I would recommend it if you’re in the mood for a high fantasy with rich world building and dragons!

Blood of the Divine 🩸✨

Rating: 4/5⭐️
Genre: NA urban fantasy
Release date: 8 January 2026

I really liked how plot based this book was! It immediately picks up from where we left off in book 1, so we get thrown back into action quickly.

I liked how our other love interest from book 1 grew on me in this book. Which was nice because we got to see his (Aiden’s) pov in this book as well and not just Valerie’s. This was another point that I liked in this book, the fact that it was dual pov.

We also got a few new characters in this book. Cassius was my absolute favourite. He was such a fun and sarcastic character. He pretty much stole the show for me haha.

I’m so sad I have to wait for the next book and I can’t wait to read it when it comes out 🥹 This series just keeps getting better!!

Thank you so much to the author for an e-arc of this book!🫶

Moonstruck 💜✨

Rating: 5/5⭐️
Genre: NA romance
Release date: 14 December 2025

To say I loved this book would be an understatement. I fear I have a new obsession.

The storyline was great and engaging. I really found myself fully invested and caring for the main characters. I loved how there was clear communication between the characters. Another thing I liked was that everything connected so well even the bits of movie trivia.

I loved our headstrong fmc, Cora. I loved how we saw her grow from where she felt shattered after the attack to her old self again and stronger. I loved seeing her get her spark back thanks to Marcus. She really is an fmc to look up to.

Marcus, is a mmc I fell head over heels for. He was so caring and protective and not just because he was Cora’s bodyguard. He genuinely had a good heart and cared for people which I loved 🥹 He can protect me any day haha

Overall I absolutely loved this book. It honestly had everything you could want in a good romance book. And oh my did the plot twists catch me off guard!! The Hunger Games mentions were my fav thing 🥹

I cannot recommend this book enough if you cannot tell.

Thank you so much to the author @authorhollyejukes for an e-arc of this INCREDIBLE book 🥹💜
