Always grateful for the way my work life overlaps with just me, Kerri🤍 Keep reading to know how it’s extra thanks to KCP couples that I have an extension of home across the Atlantic.

Part II of my springtime holiday in my fav place - home sweet Ischia🍃 My third time visiting this island that I once knew for the sunshine, crystal clear waters, & olive oil… and now know for the warmth of my friends (that now feel like family), hills on hills for my running route that turned a vacation spot to a home-like routine, & of course, still that Ischian sun. That hasn’t changed, and I just know it never will🌞

Highlights included sitting at my breakfast table for 3 hours at a time, joy in the form of teaching my crew sayings that I didn’t realize were SO American (Like MVP and saying roll me home after a full meal hahaha), being the fun aunt who doesn’t speak Italian (but can play a mean game of hide & seek) to Marco & Imma’s kids, & hearing the church bells at the news of white smoke for Chicago born’s most epic promotion. Holy space.

All these social media trends & talk of the butterfly effect and let me tell ya, it’s real (like had Sahar & Tim never brought me to capture their Amalfi wedding a couple years back I would never have this whole life on this island)… But what’s more real is our ability to make intentional choices for our lives. Never in a million years would I imagine returning to a little island with one hospital (leave it to me to know and visit the medical grounds honestly), off the Amalfi Coast 3x, with a 4th trip on the books… but all it takes is being intentional with your calendar & how you build relationships alike, a place that feels creatively inspiring & soul grounding, (a tennis racket), a strong work ethic to stay ahead of life at home (looking at you KCP couples - adore you), and the warmth of the sun to feel like home.

I really, and I mean REALLY, hope you get a chance to visit Ischia someday. When you do, you have absolutely no choice but to stay at the most beautiful ever @sanmontanoresort and hug my people really tight. Or maybe let’s go together? Meet you there for a sunset aperitif?🧡
