I was given the opportunity to chase my childhood dream of chasing Bugling Elk this past week. Thanks to my buddies Tommy and Ramon who set me up on a quick and epic hunt. Bugles filled the forest, my heart pounded, and the adrenaline flowed like a raging river. I didn’t notch the tag but I certainly notched the experience I was after. Between weather and catching a bad cold my hunt was cut short though, I’ll be back! The pursuit is only starting the dream and desire is only rising. The little kid with big dreams in that photo wouldn’t believe all the places he’d go. Glory be to God for all my opportunities and all the people he has put in life to chase these dreams! #tiedtotheland

The @coloradobowhuntersassociation Jamboree has become one of our families favorite summer time tradition’s. The best part about it is the people. The camaraderie is unmatched! We did learn that camping with two dogs, one of which is a puppy, is a challenge. #archery #bowhunting

The fight is raging… the battlefield is out there. What can we as elk hunters do everyday to preserve our history our heritage and our future as elk hunters. Me I’ve had it watching this play out. We will stop losing when we throw out the politics and stand for elk together. #elk #wapiti #elkhunting #archeryelk #antihuntingisantiamerica
