Some of our Big Top highlights from @htbfocus

We are deeply thankful to be part of this incredible network of churches, for the faithful leaders, dedicated teams and everyone who serves so generously to strengthen their local church.

It was a joy to celebrate and pray over the new church plants commissioned this weekend. May the Lord bless and keep them, and make His face shine upon them as they step into all He has called them to.❤️‍🔥

God is on the move, and we give Him all the glory!

FOCUS ‘26 - The Lord is on the Move

We had a phenomenal weekend at Focus with our @saint.church and @revitalisetrust family - catching up with friends, amazing worship, talks and prayer ministry, quality community, rich conversations, and a whole lot of fun!

It is 50 years since Sandy Millar first arrived at HTB, and it’s remarkable to see all God has done since. Thanks to @algordon.co @archiecoates for leading us this weekend.

Three things stood out to me:

1/ Unity is powerful. Churches gather in the middle of nowhere each year with humility, laying down their banners to lift up Jesus. They worship, pray, and encourage one another as one family. Over the next few weeks, other church networks will gather in the UK and they are all praying for each other - no competition or boasting, other than in Christ. In a divided age, this kind of unity is refreshing - and it’s no surprise God is blessing it.

2/ Intensity is not a fruit of the Spirit. Pursuing holiness or encounter doesn’t have to mean intensity. Focus was full of faith, authenticity, joy and lightness. We still prayed for healing (and people were healed), for infilling of the spirit and tongues (and people received), but it was done with lightness that comes from a deep faith that God loves to minister to His people. One of my favorite moments was seeing the dozens of church plants sent out in a prayer tunnel - overwhelming hope and joy filled the room as we prayed over them.

3/ It’s all about the Great commission. From Alpha stories to church planting, healing, prayer ministry, and various pastors gatherings; everything pointed back to Jesus’ call to make disciples. It was a timely reminder to keep the main thing the main thing. It’s not unity that ultimately holds us together; it’s the mission we share.

We’re so honoured to play our part through @neighbourhood.au in the story God is continuing to write across this incredible network. These are exciting days.
