Cameron Winter’s long-awaited live album, Live at Carnegie Hall, is finally available. Here is my review of the album, comparing the new album to my experience seeing the songwriter live earlier this year, and the ways in which the live album perfectly reflect what it is like to be an audience member at a Cameron Winter show.

A message from Jerrie.

When I first got given this work uniform, I didn’t think much of it. I put it on, went to work and got to know the community in Bass Coast.

The more I got to work in the community, connect with young people, create events with talented creatives and truly work in the inspiration of young people- I felt the weight of these words on the back of my uniform.

The power of inspired young people is defiantly something to believe in. Inspired young people have a vision, a purpose and pure grit to want to share that with the world.

I’m finishing up my time with The Y as we hand over to Anglicare.
A career opportunity in New Zealand awaits me. As exciting as my new venture is, I’ll miss the work I’ve been doing. Working with young aspiring artists and musicians is a job I would always love to come back to.

Watch this space for future FReeZA events in bass coast.

From The Y and Jerrie,
Farewell for now- Keep creating magic!

PS- Come to our wrap up party! See recent post for details.

LOOKING BACK ON THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE YEAR!

YMCA Bass Coast FReeZA have had such a busy start to the year! Swipe through to read about all of our events so far.

We’re so grateful to work with such a creative bunch of young people. These young people put the work in to make these events happen in our communities- without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

If reading this has sparked your creativity and inspired you to run an event, get in touch!
