Kiedy len staje się światłem. ✨

Kilka centymetrów pomiędzy membraną a źródłem światła.

A efekt?

Jednorodna, miękka powierzchnia światła — bez widocznych punktów LED i hotspotów.

Naturalna faktura lnu pozostaje częścią kompozycji, nadając światłu wyjątkową głębię i materialność.

Co więcej, powierzchnia posiada również właściwości akustyczne, współtworząc komfort foniczny wnętrza.

I najważniejsze:

Takiego rozwiązania nie zastosowaliśmy wcześniej nigdzie.

Powstało specjalnie dla tej architektury.

Sunlight through the palms, salt air, and a little more time to take it all in.

In restoring the historic architecture at @fssurfside , I wanted to preserve what makes this place so special, its character, its history, and its connection to the ocean. To let you experience that history as you move through the spaces, from the arches to the gardens and out toward the water.

For me, that’s one of architecture’s greatest pleasures, creating places that feel as good as they look. Places to reset, recharge, and feel connected again.

Where do you go when you need a moment to exhale?

WHEN REFLECTION BECOMES ARCHITECTURE. 🪞

📍 New York City | Major League Soccer Headquarters

In exceptional architecture, materials do more than finish a space. They define its identity.

At the Major League Soccer headquarters in New York, NEWMAT MIRODAL MIRROR XXL panels extend across the entire lobby ceiling, creating a striking interplay of reflections, light and architectural geometry.

The result is a space defined by visual depth, refined materiality and a distinctive sense of scale. The ceiling becomes more than a surface — it becomes an integral part of the architectural experience.

Restoring the historic Surf Club was a journey through time. I wanted people to walk through its original walls and feel the elegance of the 1930s, while experiencing how naturally that history could become part of contemporary life.

For me, architecture creates a connection to a place, to its ocean, its light, and the stories it holds. At The Surf Club, preserving that connection meant honoring the character of the original architecture while allowing its next chapter to unfold.

Today, seeing these spaces filled with life is what makes that work meaningful. The history lives on through the people who gather here, the moments they share, and the memories they take with them.

At @fssurfside , every space was considered as part of one continuous experience, from the historic entrance and original architecture to the terraces, residences, pool, and quiet moments overlooking the Atlantic.

Our work was about honoring the history of The Surf Club while creating a new chapter around it, preserving its character, opening it to light and landscape, and designing spaces that feel as timeless today as the place itself.

Nearly a century of stories live here, and I’m proud that our architecture has become part of the story still being written.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🏛️

Architecture is never just a building.

It carries the vision of those who imagined it, the hands of those who brought it to life, and the stories of the people who experience it for generations to come.

Throughout my career, I’ve believed that good design should respect what came before while creating something meaningful for what comes next. Whether preserving a historic landmark or designing something entirely new, architecture becomes part of the history of a place.

Long after the drawings are finished and the work is complete, what we create remains, shaping cities, holding memories, and becoming part of the lives lived within it.

On World Architecture Day, we celebrate not only what we build, but what we leave behind.

Here’s to designing with purpose, honoring the past, and creating for generations to come. 🌎

𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐃 📐

I’ve always believed that when you truly love what you do, the work becomes part of who you are.

On the ground, on the water, walking job sites, breaking ground, meeting with teams, watching years of ideas take shape, these are the moments that keep me going.

For me, it has always been about more than creating buildings. It’s about shaping the future, improving the way we live, and creating places that bring people together.

Stay curious. Keep learning. Keep showing up. And enjoy the journey along the way.

Whatever keeps you going, give it everything you have. You never know where it might take you.
