Some stories break your heart. Some performances stay with you long after the credits roll. And some journeys make every frame worth it. 🎬❤️ AT LAST WE SAID GOODBYE — BEST ACTRESS, JURY AWARD | AHMEDABAD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026. 🏆 A special shoutout to @peezee_official who, as always, absolutely killed it and made this recognition possible with her phenomenal performance. To @aditya._.thakur , for a performance that brought so much to the film - @architmkoli , for being nothing short of phenomenal; and @aadityaashhetty , for capturing the story through his lens as our DOP. A heartfelt thank you to @awaarakhalnayak whose experience, guidance, and support in co-producing the film meant so much to us. To @sonali_chavan14 for holding things together with logistics and styling, and to @pehell__ , our young AD, who stood by the film and helped us throughout the journey. And to everyone else who was part of this film, in front of or behind the camera — this recognition carries a piece of all of you. Independent cinema is never a solo act. It takes trust, collaboration, and people who care enough to give a story their all. Grateful for the recognition. Proud of the team. And always in love with the process of making films. ❤️ #atlastwesaidgoodbye #ahmedabadinternationalfilmfestival #independentcinema #indiancinema #filmmaking

Two films. Two jury awards. One unforgettable journey. 🎬❤️ From Yuyutsu winning Best Film – Jury Award to Priyanka Zemse taking home Best Actress – Jury Award at the Ahmedabad International Film Festival 2026, this one means more than trophies. It’s about the stories we chose to tell, the people who brought them to life, and the team that believed in them. Independent cinema, real people, and stories that stay with you. This is why we make films. #yuyutsu #indiancinema #independentfilm #filmmaking #filmfestival

BISFF 2026 | Archit Kohli 🎬 Behind every character is an actor who gives the story its pulse. At BISFF 2026, we caught up with Archit Kohli, one of the leading actors of At Last We Said Goodbye, following the film’s screening under “Let’s Include” — an Inclusion Section at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival. As the film continues its festival journey, Archit reflects on being part of the story, his experience of bringing the character to life, and what it feels like to finally see the film meet an audience in a festival setting. In At Last We Said Goodbye, Deeshak Patra constructs a psychological thriller through fractured chronology and perception.  For Vinta Nanda, what makes the film exciting is Patra allowing form to mirror emotional fragmentation. This is Gen Z filmmaking. I'm incredibly honoured to share that my short film, "At Last We Said Goodbye," has been Officially Nominated at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival 2026 @bisffblr — India's only Academy Award® (Oscar®) qualifying short film festival. For an independent film, every selection is more than a laurel. It's validation that a story created with conviction can stand alongside voices from around the world. This film was built on difficult questions, quiet emotions, and the belief that cinema should leave you thinking long after the credits roll. To see it recognized by a festival of this stature is a milestone we'll always cherish. This is just the beginning of the journey. Thank you to every cast member, every crew member, every supporter, and everyone who believed in this film before the world ever saw it. See you in Bengaluru. 🎬 #atlastwesaidgoodbye #bisff2026 #officialselection #oscarqualifying #academyawardqualifying shortfilm independentcinema indianfilmmaker filmfestival thriller

We could tell you what CANI is. But we'd rather let the people who showed up tell you. Different backgrounds. Different journeys. Same obsession—stories. Some answers made us laugh. Some reminded us why we started. And every answer became a small part of what CANI is turning into. Maybe the best communities aren't defined by their founders. They're defined by the people who choose to stay. What's CANI for you? Tell us in one word. 👇 Follow @the.cani.hub and DM "JOIN" if you'd like to be at the next session. #indiancinema #filmfestival #storytelling #films #cani

"What does CANI mean to you?" The answers were honest, unexpected, funny, and a reminder that CANI is no longer just an idea—it's becoming a community shaped by the people in it. Here's what they had to say. If cinema is your language, there's always a seat for you here. Follow @the.cani.hub and DM "JOIN" to be a part of our next gathering. #cani #filmmakers #storytelling #creativecommunity #indiancinema

What is CANI? Wrong answers only... or maybe the right ones. We asked everyone at our second CANI Meet & Greet one simple question, and somehow got a hundred different answers. A film club. A therapy session. A networking event. A cult. 👀 A place where filmmakers finally found their people. Maybe CANI is a little bit of all of them. The truth is, we're still writing the definition—one conversation, one collaboration, and one storyteller at a time. Now it's your turn. **What is CANI to you?** 🎬 Drop your answer below. The funniest, weirdest, or most thoughtful one might just make it into our next reel. #filmmaking #filmcommunity #storytelling #indiancinema #cani

Haha, fair question. 😄 Honestly, CANI isn't just another film community. Think of it as a place where artists actually find each other. If you're a filmmaker looking for an actor, a writer looking for a director, a cinematographer looking for projects, or even someone who's just starting and doesn't know where to begin—that's exactly why we're building CANI. We're trying to create an ecosystem where people don't just attend events and disappear. They collaborate, learn, make films, watch great cinema together, discuss ideas, attend workshops, perform theatre, and hopefully create something meaningful. If you're someone who genuinely loves storytelling in any form—films, theatre, writing, photography, music, design, poetry—you'll probably feel at home here. We're still growing, but that's the exciting part. You'll be building it with us, not just joining it. ❤️ #bollywood #thecanihub #storytelling #filmmaking #theatre
