Today, The Nerd Corner Turns Three! Storytime: A dream of mine was to always open a store selling vintage clothing after college, I would’ve never thought that an online variation would come three years ago. I had a dream and a vision that was allowed to thrive and flourish. Thus, the nerd corner was born. I just lost my grandma, I was jobless and was at a dead end. I had literally dumped every little bit of money I had and drained my savings to make sure this happened successfully. Then that day eBay came through: I sold a sealed copy of silent hill on the PlayStation (before the market tanked) and continue to put all I had into this business and three years later we still hanging in there!

The road getting here wasn’t always easy. I had a lot of people try to derail the progress, someone broke in and stole all my stuff I initially had, and to top it off, I even had someone who was supposed to be my biggest supporter go as far as calling not only myself a loser, but the nerd corner a failure as well. So to the people who didn’t believe, You didn’t stop anytime, I’m still standing! You gave me the fuel to go harder and grind 3x more than I did in the past. Despite the medical setbacks and despite the college degree I don’t have, I’m still making it and my business is continuing to thrive, so I really appreciate that!

We are three years into this, and onto year number four, no “losers” around here just winners.

To everyone who’s supported me and showed love, thank you! To all the friends and extended family I’ve made doing this, I love each and every one of y’all!

Without all my customers, none of this would be possible. But, please stay tuned because this is only the beginning for The Nerd Corner! Believe that! @thenerdcorner24
