My final 2 weeks in LA were a dodger blue fever dream—not the way I would have liked to say goodbye but it ended up being exactly what I needed. For example, I wanted to go see the poppies one last time but instead the jasmine in my courtyard bloomed almost a month early. The little LA things I already miss.

I always knew LA would have me screaming and ugly crying by the time I left. With a week on the road immediately after there wasn’t much time to be grateful for the bright spots as it all came to a close.

So many people showed up for me, helped me pack, bought me food, let me cry, made me laugh. I’d been worried I would have to say goodbye to my life in LA completely alone, but that was so far from the reality.

You all will never truly understand what you mean to me. I love you and miss you. 💙
