So, the news is out… 🚴‍♂️

Lathan and I are about to take on our biggest challenge together yet — this year’s Pan Celtic Race.

We’ll be starting in Wales, crossing into Ireland via Dublin, heading all the way up to the north coast and back down to Belfast, before returning to Liverpool and finally making our way to Conwy and the finish line.

To make the challenge even more worthwhile, we’ve set up a GoFundMe to raise money for Diabetes UK. If you’ve got a couple of quid to spare and would like to support us, please check out the link in our bio.

We believe Lathan could be the youngest person ever to take part in an ultra-distance race, so let’s get behind him and help him complete this incredible challenge.

New FKT on the Henley 100. (Just awaiting verification)
Think Gravel bike is the one for this route, so much tarmac or hardpack so really felt like a slog on the MTB, Some strong winds not helping either but pleased to go sub 4 hour!

The Gravel Rally // Pure Vibes 🚵‍♂️🔥🏆

This event is always a must-do on the race calendar. There’s just something special about it. Maybe it’s the stunning landscapes and ever-changing conditions, the incredible organisers, or the mix of riders — from those battling at the front to those simply soaking up every mile of terrain and adventure. Honestly, it’s the whole package, and that’s why I love coming back every year.

Don’t get me wrong… it’s a seriously tough day in the saddle 😅 But the format is unreal: elbows-out racing through the timed sectors, then rolling between stages with your mates, taking in the views before the next all-out effort.

If you’ve never done this event, make it one for next year 👊

I raced the World Class Short Route:
🌙 Timed night stage — 11 miles / 1500ft climbing through Gwydir Forest
⛰️ Main stage — 58 miles / 7200ft climbing through Eryri National Park

Buzzing to take the win 🥇 with just over a 20-minute lead to second place.

Round 7 | London League 🏆

Sunday’s race at Hog Hill (Redbridge) was a wild one. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much after the toughest week of my life.

Got a solid start, stayed wide into the first left-hander because I knew a pinch point was coming… and yep, massive pile-up. That move put me into the top 6–7, and before long I was sitting in the top 4. Crashes everywhere — including one of my own.

I ended up leading the race, got a bit too excited, and slid out transitioning from mud to tarmac. Lost some skin, jumped back on, and charged from 4th to 2nd pretty quick. Then the leader punctured, I slipped past, and just focused on keeping it smooth and controlled to the line.

It paid off — took the win with a 20-second gap.

Maybe that fire in my belly pushed me on… who knows?

South East Regionals | Cyclopark

Cracking course! Plenty of slippery sections and a ton of off-camber and plenty of steps to run up which made for a seriously fun challenge.

Didn’t get the best start (again… really need to work on those!), so the first half-lap was spent dodging traffic before I could settle into a rhythm. Made a few mistakes that cost me some time, but had an awesome back-and-forth battle with Craig Joy that definitely kept things exciting.

Could’ve really done with a pit bike — not saying it would’ve won me the race, but it would’ve made life a whole lot easier!

Gutted to miss the podium, but happy to bring it home in 4th place 👊
