Released on this date four years ago!

I know some of the new Arctic Monkeys albums don't get a lot of love anymore, but Hello You is one of my favourites of theirs.

🐵 BRIANSTORM 🥶🐵 Arctic Monkeys 🐵🥶

🦋 The Art of Slow Looking 🦋 Papillon Artist 🦋

The story behind BRIANSTORM

The band’s frontman Alex Turner said that the band first met Brian when he turned up in their dressing room after a gig in Osaka, Japan

He said: “When he left the room, we were a bit freaked out by his presence. So we did a brainstorm for what he was like, drew a little picture and wrote things about him.”

Guitarist Jamie Cook added: “He was right weird. He just appeared with like a business card and like a round neck T-shirt and a tie loosely around it, I’d never seen that before. It felt like he was trying to get inside your mind. We were checking out his attire – it freaked us out.”

“He definitely left a mark on us. He might have been a magician. He might even be here now. But if we ever find out who he was, it might spoilt it.”

Arctic Monkeys
Formed in 2002, Arctic Monkeys rapidly became one of the UK’s most influential modern rock bands. Led by frontman Alex Turner, they first captured public attention through internet-based fan sharing and witty, observational lyricism. Their record-breaking debut album cemented their status as voice-of-a-generation chroniclers of British nightlife. Over the years, the group has continuously evolved its musical style, shifting from high-energy garage rock to sophisticated lounge pop and cinematic art rock. This restless creativity allowed them to maintain global commercial success while alienating few of their core supporters. Today, they are widely celebrated as defining stadium headliners of the 21st century.
