oh so fine area IX šŸ’™āœØ

Area 9 where do I begin, this convention was not just one of the most fulfilling days in my FFA career but it was also my last convention with my childhood friend. I am so excited about being your REPORTER!!! You guys have are my FFA buddies, and I am so grateful for the support system this organization has given me. Senior year is going to be on for the books, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it! Thank you for our area 9 family, for taking a giant stride with me, and for giving me so many opportunities throughout the years.
I LOVE YOU AREA IX!!!

Leadership is not about the harvest you reap, but the seeds you plant.

As chapters begin to end and my time in this blue jacket nears its conclusion, I would be remiss not to recognize what started it all. Greenhand Camp is a first for many, just as it was for me four years ago. It’s one of the first major opportunities every Greenhand experiences an opportunity to learn and grow, while also forming lifelong friendships.

For many district officers, it’s a time to grow as a team and impact hundreds of lives. For Area officers, it’s a season filled with both excitement and sadness. We get to witness the growth of district officer teams and share our love for FFA with Greenhands, but it also signifies that one of the best years of our lives is coming to a close.

As this chapter of my life comes to an end, I’m reminded that while the blue jacket may someday hang in the closet, the impact of this organization never fades. Greenhand Camp isn’t just a starting point it’s the foundation. It’s where confidence is planted, friendships are formed, and leaders begin to discover who they are meant to become. For every Greenhand taking their first steps, and every officer giving their last bit of themselves, this experience reminds us why we serve. Because FFA isn’t measured by the years we wear the jacket, but by the lives we touch and the seeds we plant.

ALC and DLC were more than just leadership conferences this year— they were moments of growth, inspiration, and purpose. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to not only lead, but to witness our District Officers step up and shine. Watching members come out of their shells, whether through the guidance of Area Officers, District Officers, or even from me, reminded me just how powerful this organization is. I hope to continue impacting others through this blue jacket — wearing it with pride, knowing it has the power to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Washington Leadership Conference did not disappoint. I am so glad that I got to make the memories and friendships that I did. I cannot wait to implement my LTS plan into my own community. I’m so ready to do what I can with what I have where I am! @nationalffa @texasffa

Area VI, you have given me everything and more.

This past year, you’ve been my family, my home, and my greatest joy. Monday’s convention was bittersweet as I wrapped up my time as an area officer. It’s not a goodbye, just a ā€œsee ya laterā€ to seven of the best friends I could ask for.

To Quentis, Jordan V., Thomas, Jordan T., Emily, and Sami—you’ve taught me to be uniquely me, and I’ll forever be grateful. Kyleigh, my day one, you are my piece of home, and I couldn’t have done this without you.

Area VI, thank you for making the impossible my reality. Representing you has been the honor of a lifetime—because after all, there’s NO party like an A6 Party!

Next stop, state convention! šŸ«¶šŸ»
