Thank you to everyone who came down to @bergybandroom a few weeks ago and helped us celebrate our new single RADIOINACTIVE. Big shout-out to @cccometsss and @tomlyngcoln for such sick sets and to all the stations that have supported the single since it’s been out! To Tyra for all your support, to Brodie for rocking sound on the night, to @georgia_cait for holding down the merch desk, to @wadswallace for poster design, to @_benedettamartini poster photography, to Paul Maybury @asecretlocationsoundrecorders for tracking/mixing, to Casey Rice for mastering, to @tobycameronhooper for the single design and to Bella Li for the artwork. Special shout out goes to @coolhand____ and @lucinthe_sky for pushing back their wedding anniversary celebrations one night so that Luke could come down and take some photographs. We know that we say this all the time but it takes a community and we’re thankful for ours. Radioinactive is out everywhere ! Thanks @coolhand____ @aredrummersmusicians for the photography. Listen, listen, listen 🛰️

Here's a podcast interview on a new show about Australian music: "Are drummer's musicians?" Really delighted to be a part of it. It was a fun (& deep) conversation with the host Luke in which we covered a lot of ground. https://www.aredrummersmusicians.com/conversations/kimbeales
It's for when you going for a drive, or are kicking around at home, or doing the cleaning, or just one of those moments you've got 54mins and you feel like diving into a podcast conversation!! Hope you enjoy.

Things I did not expect in my music career:
1) going on a podcast and being asked “who’s the last artist you listened to before you came here” and responding with “Meshuggah” 🤔
2) hearing my music swirl around me in 360 degrees (and overhead too) what a time to be alive!
3) meeting the delightful Scout, a pup just back from the vet , who may just be the sweetest music industry dog I have ever met!
Huge thanks to Luke @aredrummersmusicians Singleton for the chat, @hadynbuxton for the atmos mixing, and Scout for the pats 🥹
