CHARLOTTE, YOU SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! 💙💚

What an incredible experience at the Black Health Matters Summit & Expo in Charlotte, NC!

We are proud of our continued partnership with Black Health Matters (BHM), helping us bring myasthenia gravis (MG) awareness, education, and advocacy directly into our communities.

And Charlotte, the numbers speak for themselves!

💪🏽 244 PEOPLE participated in our MyMGLife™ Challenge, getting a glimpse into some of the everyday challenges people living with myasthenia gravis may experience.

✍🏽 159 PEOPLE signed our National Anti-Gaslighting Pledge™, committing to three powerful actions:

LISTEN. VALIDATE. ACT.

We were especially grateful to have a second table dedicated entirely to our Anti-Gaslighting Pledge initiative. Seeing so many people willing to stand up for those whose symptoms and experiences are too often dismissed was truly inspiring! We especially love seeing people from hospital systems, medical schools and representatives from the @naacp take our pledge.

👏🏽 A huge thank-you to the Black Health Matters team for creating opportunities to connect, educate, and empower our communities.

📣 DID YOU KNOW?

Black Health Matters Summit & Expo events are FREE and open to the public! You can even register for a virtual ticket to access the speaker sessions.

When you attend in person there is high likelihood you will see a celebrity or two!

📍 NEXT STOP: GEORGIA — FEBRUARY 2027!

And YES, MG Holistic Society will be there!

🎬 Enjoy a few highlights from our time in Charlotte!

Awareness creates understanding. Understanding inspires action. And action creates CHANGE!

When I was asked me to take part in “Nonostante tutto”, I never imagined we would come this far, becoming finalists for the @paladinodoro 2026.
Attending the Festival’s presentation at the Sala del Refettorio of the Italian Chamber of Deputies was a truly special experience.

Behind this project was an incredible team effort, built on dedication, passion, and people who believed in the story we were telling.

PMC

This is what empowerment looks like.

At our Women’s Empowerment Retreat, we don’t just talk about what we want next—we create space to see it, name it, and begin moving toward it.

Watching Niki walk us through her vision board is a reminder that our dreams don’t have an expiration date‼️ Whether the next chapter is about health, travel, joy, purpose, relationships, adventure, personal growth—or simply choosing yourself again—there is power in putting the vision in front of you.

These retreats are about so much more than a weekend away.

They are about:
🔸Reconnecting with yourself
🔹Creating new goals
🔸Building community
🔹Making room for joy
🔸Exploring what’s possible
🔹And leaving with something tangible that says, “I’m not finished yet.”

Sometimes you need to get away from the noise long enough to hear yourself dream again.

Dream it. See it. Move toward it. Dream Forward.

This is our Women’s Empowerment Retreat energy. 🥰🙌🏽

Dare to Move 🩵razem z europejską społecznością pacjentów!

W dniach 15–18 września, na zaproszenie organizatorów, Prezes i Wiceprezes naszego Stowarzyszenia uczestniczyły w inicjatywie Dare to Move w Brukseli, reprezentując polską społeczność osób żyjących z miastenią.

To możliwość wyjścia z domu, pracy, podróżowania, spotykania się z bliskimi, uczestniczenia w życiu społecznym, planowania własnego dnia i zachowania samodzielności.

Podczas spotkań organizacji pacjenckich z różnych krajów Europy , USA i innych krajów spoza UE, dużo rozmawialiśmy także o niepełnosprawności i systemach orzeczniczych.
