🤩 Last week I got invited to spend the day at Jamie Oliver HQ for the promotion and launch of the big man's new cook book #5ingredientsmed 📖.

Myself along with a group of other amazing content creators and some familiar cook book faces got to decorate our own pannetone before going to the @jamieolivercookeryschool to learn how to make a delicious Tunisian Prawn Pasta which were both recipes from Jamie's new Mediterranean cook book.🦐

I was also so happy to be reunited over a lovely lunch with @dominiquewoolf @zenaskitchen @calumharris and @theskintcook from the #greatcookchallenge which aired last year on Channel 4. 📺

Then I bumped into my Uncle, Tito Caesar @caesarcruz who by the way is an OG in Jamie's hospitality team and I'm proud to say that he will be the General Manager of @jamieolivercatherinest which is launching in Covent Garden very soon! 🇵🇭🙌

Finally we all watched Jamie cook up 2 more recipes from his book before having a drink, chat and of course a photo op! 🤩 Thank you bro for having me back, signing a book for my mum and keeping us all close! it's an honour as always, congratulations on your new cook book and restaurant 🙌🙌

So wonderful to finally meet some of the contestants and crew of The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver show, together with the winner @dominiquewoolf and @madebyblitz - it’s great to see you again! 🙌🏻

💕It was a rewarding experience for me to educate and share a Filipino tradition and culture with them, especially because it was their first time trying a Boodle Fight. I had to explain and teach the steps on how to eat the proper “kamayan” (or bare-hand eating) eating technique.🤌🏻😂
Even though wearing of gloves is optional, they ALL preferred to eat with their bare hands. I just couldn’t be more impressed and amazed with this bunch.🥹🫶🏼

🤩 One of the highlights of participating in 'The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver' was meeting all of the wonderful passionate cooks as well as the talented and very hard working crew behind the show. 💫

🌱 Everyone has their own individual personalities and paths in food and are just so good at what they do. It was such a pleasure to throw a @turoturouk Boodle Fight for them!

Sadly not everyone could make it but that just means we will do another bigger and better one soon 😉. To the rest of the crew, let's reunite soon! You know who you are!

🌟The Great Cookbook Challenge Boodle Fighters!🤌🏻

🤩Another successful Boodle Fight event took place last Sunday, and we were thrilled to have our family from The Great Cookbook Challenge show including our grand winner @dominiquewoolf , with @madebyblitz @zenaskitchen @ellenikatalanos @cook_gemutlich @argoundar and @hungry_harrison_ as well as their families and friends. It was our big honour to host your first taste of Filipino cuisine in a unique way - kamayan style. 🤌🏻🤌🏻

🇵🇭 Kamayan, or "eating with one's bare hands," is another term for a proper Boodle Fight. It is a Filipino traditional style of eating without cutleries, using just one's hands and banana leaves as plates, which originated as a Philippine military practice referred to as "Boodle Fight." Rather than competing with one other, it fosters bonding and camaradeire. It is well-known nowadays, especially during holiday trips and gatherings.🤗

Boodle Fight @turoturouk!

Had so much fun today @turoturouk for their Sunday Boodle Fight.

If you saw The Great Cookbook Challenge you’ll know that my fellow finalist @chefrexdeguzman wowed the judges with this dish (or more like a concept!) - so great to experience it for real!

As you can see, it’s a communal eating experience with rice as the base plus pickles, mango, and a stream of amazing goodies on top from aubergine in a gorgeous sweet soy sauce, honey & ginger chicken wings, pork skewers, prawns, spring rolls and more!

Also managed to catch up with @madebyblitz @zenaskitchen @ellenikatalanos @cook_gemutlich as well as two of our lovely producers!

It was my kids first time trying Filipino food and they wolfed it down!

If you’re in London, you need to go! 🙌
