Yesterday, Ariane was telling me about how instead of killing the spiders that find their way into her bedroom, she lets them stay but explains to them that they’ll probably be unhappy because theres no food for them to survive on. And they do end up leaving without further intervention. She’s telling me more stories about spiders - their varying personalities and different responses to her trying to talk to them and I can’t help but giggle over how incredibly sweet she is. Today another spider lives on at my remembrance of her mercy! My world is kinder bc Ariane’s in it.
