Lake house recipe 💙🌊👇

✨Crockpot Korean BBQ Chicken Rice Bowls✨

Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 package boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 6 thighs)

Korean BBQ Sauce

1 cup coconut aminos or soy sauce
½ cup honey
¼ cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp ground ginger
1½ tbsp garlic powder or 5–6 cloves minced garlic (measure with heart not accuracy)
½ tsp black pepper

Toppings

-Cooked jasmine rice
-Chopped cucumber
-Chopped or shredded carrots
-Sliced green onions
-Sesame seeds
-Red pepper flakes
-Sriracha aioli

Directions

-Place the chicken in the crockpot.
-Whisk together all of the sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken.
-Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
-Shred the chicken and toss it back into the sauce.
-Let it sit on LOW for another 10–15 minutes so the chicken can absorb the sauce.
-Serve the chicken over jasmine rice and top with chopped cucumber, carrots, green onions, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, and a drizzle of sriracha aioli.

That feeling when the car is packed, the weekend is wide open, and the whole family knows the lake is waiting. 🥹🚗🌊

Here’s to lake weekends filled with boat rides, swimming, dock days, family dinners, and the kind of memories everyone talks about long after the trip is over. 💙

Where is your family heading for your next lake vacation?
