Another Iron & Ivy gathering in the books! 🌿🤍

Four events in, and I’m reminded why this community matters. Some gatherings are bigger than others, but the purpose remains the same: genuine connection, meaningful experiences, and enjoying life together.

Before wrapping up, I left everyone with a little food for thought:

What makes you feel most like YOU? And are you making enough time for it?

Life’s too short to water yourself down. Be a little weird, pursue what you love, and make a life you’re excited to live!

To everyone who continues to show up, thank you. ❤️

I feel a genuine responsibility to build, lead, and steward this community well. But it’s the people who give it life.

You aren’t just supporting Iron & Ivy. You ARE Iron & Ivy. Every time you show up, choose connection, and encourage one another, you’re showing up as the standard.

Integrity. Excellence. Refinement. Stewardship.

Not just values to stand behind, but values to live by.

Ancient Values. Modern Lives. 🌿

Not the best audio here, sorry 🫠 but useful info
🧬 The Science of Strength | Grip Strength

One thing I’ve learned about strength is that there’s always something to work on!

Since taking a break from jiu-jitsu, I’ve noticed my grip isn’t as strong as it used to be. And lately, it’s been giving out before the muscles I’m actually trying to train. So we’re working on it!

Plate Pinch Holds are a simple way to build grip strength and forearm endurance.

🌿 Hold for 15–30 seconds
🌿 Repeat for 2–3 sets
🌿 Gradually increase time or weight

And remember, lifting straps aren’t cheating! They’re a useful tool when your grip fatigues before your target muscles during heavier lifts.

Train your grip. Use straps when needed. Both have their place.

A little progress every day 💪🏼

If you could’ve told the little girl who spent her days dreaming up imaginary worlds that one day she’d be bringing a little world of her own to life… she would’ve been over the moon (and probably have a millions questions hahah)

I’ve always been a dreamer, curious by nature. The kind of little girl who found magic in ordinary places, fell in love with worlds that felt like they belonged to another time, and believed there was always something beautiful waiting to be discovered.

As I’ve grown, that love for imagination, old-world beauty, and the warmth of home has never left me.

And now here I am, unfolding a banner with the name of a little shop that holds so many pieces of who I am and where I came from.

Moss & Manor is still just beginning, but seeing this dream become something tangible is a moment I’ll treasure.

Here’s to the little girl who never stopped dreaming. And to the beautiful things still waiting to unfold. 🌿

Old-World Soul. Modern Living.

There’s always room at the table. ♡
First collection coming soon

We’re getting the community back together. 🌿🤍

It’s been a little while since our last Iron & Ivy gathering this summer, and I’m so excited to bring everyone together again!

Join us Saturday, October 24th for an afternoon of movement, good coffee, genuine connection, and even better company.

Whether you’ve joined us before or this will be your first time, YOU are welcome here. All fitness levels, all walks of life, and furry friends too! 🐾

Iron & Ivy is about more than movement. It’s about building a community rooted in integrity, excellence, refinement, and stewardship. A place where we encourage one another to grow, show up, and become better together.

📍 Meet at Sugar Browns (6701 Indiana), then head to Charles Guy Park (8701 Nashville)

🕑 2:00–3:30 PM

Come as you are. Bring a friend. Leave with a few more. 🤎

There’s a difference between expecting perfection and holding yourself to a standard.

The standard isn’t getting everything right the first time. It’s being willing to learn, adjust, practice, and come back better.

Today I was working on my RDL form. Still refining it. Still practicing. Still doing the work.

That’s the point.

A quiet look behind the scenes of something I’ve been building with a lot of heart.

A laptop. A lot of revisions. Small decisions that somehow feel very big. And a vision I can’t stop thinking about.

It may not look polished yet, but it’s real—and I’m proud to let you see the beginning.

The Founders Drop is coming.

Ancient Values. Modern Lives.

263 pounds.

75+ pounds lost.

Thousands of workouts.

Countless fresh starts.

And if I’ve learned anything, it’s this:

The goal was never to become perfect.

The goal was to become the kind of person who keeps going.

The kind of person who keeps their word.

The kind of person they can trust.

Iron & Ivy was built for those who share the same standard.

🌿 Rooted in Grace.
⚔️ Forged in Strength.
