Goodbye @spxcomics, hello Year 2.

Thank you friends for an amazing first year of Company Car! It has been a blessing to meet artists, make friends, and create projects all under the guise of “working” 😆 Many more books, shows, and projects planned for year 2, so hope to make and see all the most beautiful, talented, hardworking friends again! 🥂🍻

INTERCOM (78) c/o Arichsoil ( @arichsoil )

Vol. 78 is a mixtape with hand drawn animation made by Arichsoil. An Illustrator, graphic designer, sculptor and co-founder of the comics and zine publisher Company Car.

“ a sonically dense amalgamation of experimental guitar meoldies with drum and bass undertones.

This mixtape guided me in the background as I drew the accompanying visuals:

... a drawn looping animation of
the birth of a flower in its strange, yet, beautiful surroundings.”

- Arichsoil

Tune in MONDAY, August 10 for the 78th installment of “INTERCOM.” only on our Twitch channel @ 7 PM PST

𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀....

We are so excited to finally reveal our line-up of Gallery artists for 𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖑𝖘 𝖔𝖓 𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖍 this October 3-4 ♱⋆✦ We invite you to join us at the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲, a special space showcasing curated creations in all forms of art; sculptural, painted, digital, sound...

🌏 At 𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖑𝖘 𝖔𝖓 𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖍, we explore how original characters, digital companions, and imagined worlds become conduits for connection on this gracious, beautiful, yet lonesome & peculiar home we call Earth. Our group show dissects how shared experiences lead us to seek art as a source of comfort, community, companionship, & self-expression on this strange world.

Our artists’ ‘Angels’ appear as online friends, mascots, pets, and characters we carry with us through glowing screens. Our hopes, fears, dreams, & identities find a home in these virtual creations…. and we share these all online & through the internet. By bringing these creations into a shared physical space, 𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖑𝖘 𝖔𝖓 𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖍 celebrates the never-ending gift of imagination, connection, and love of life despite it all. We ask you, what is your experience as an Angel on Earth?

"You might see an angel anytime and anywhere."
